Kaleb chimed in, "And me too, Mommy. I'll protect you and Shaun."

Oprah and Angela exchanged a smile.

"Okay."

They finished the meal.

Angela spoke, "I'll take Kaleb with me for now. Since I think you will often meet Burgess in your residence, he will be safe if he stays with me at my private residence. Whenever you want to see him, just come over."

For now, it seemed like the only option.

Oprah told Kaleb, "You must listen to Angela and behave well. No wandering around on your own, okay?"

Kaleb nodded firmly, relieved that he wouldn't be sent back.

Although he couldn't live with his mom, he felt secure knowing they were in the same city.

Kaleb opened his suitcase. It was filled with clothes, toiletries, a laptop, and more.

Angela was curious. How this little guy carried such a big suitcase onto the plane, so she asked, "Kaleb, this suitcase weighs at least twenty pounds. How did you manage to get it on the plane? And you even brought a laptop.
