Chapter 6-A-Miao's Memory

A-Miao looked back and saw Zhou Xiao staring at her with tears in her eyes.

"My mom told me that you are going to live in a rich family. Can't we see each other in the future, can we?"

A-Miao smiled, "Yes, I will come back for you!"

"Really?" Zhou Xiao asked, "You will be pampered in the future. Will you still be my friend?”

"Don't talk nonsense. I will always be me." A-Miao hugged her. "Take care of my house. I will come back!"

Zhou Xiao nodded hard and guaranteed, "Hmm! I will. I promise you that the house will be clean when you come back."

The car slowly drove out of the dirty and narrow street. A-Miao looked back at the small building which looked farther and farther and suddenly became scared.

"Don't worry. We will take good care of you." Xia Haixin looked at her and said to the driver, "Go to the mall."

When Yao Lili understood what he meant, she became dissatisfied, "She can wear Xia Wan and Xia Mei's clothes. It is not urgent, go home first."

"She is too thin, and those clothes are not suitable for her." Xia Haixin warningly looked at her, "Don't forget who this is for."

Yao Lili turned around and said nothing. A-Miao frowned and thought, "What are they going to do..."

The girl in front of him looked black and thin, with a pair of dull eyes which looked so dim. If he had not done a DNA test, he could not believe that she was Xia He's daughter.

"Dad, A-Miao had a tough life before. Now we will take good care of her and she will look like my sister." Xia Haixin winked to Yao Lili who added immediately. "Yes, Dad, I will dress her up!"

As Xia Yongqiang heard that the name of A-Miao, he frowned badly, but he did not say anything. He waved his hand and let her leave, "Take her to her room. Have a bath and change her clothes. We will have dinner together."

A-Miao was brought upstairs by the maid. The decoration of the room was very beautiful, and the things inside looked new. But the newer they were, the more anxious she felt. Taking a small box out of her backpack, she went into the bathroom.

"I don't look like my mother?" A-Miao looked in the mirror, washing and cleaning her eyes with a smile. Soon, a white face appeared in the mirror, and a pair of big phoenix eyes winked, inadvertently emitting a charming temptation.

Touching her face, A-Miao gradually recalled her childhood memories through the mirror.

The weak woman was lying in bed, and her face was white without a trace of redness. A little girl was looking at her and crying at the bed. The skinny girl was less than ten years old. Even though her face was full of snot and tears, she looked absolutely beautiful.

"A-Miao, don't cry!" The woman touched her face. "I have already taught you how to change your face that your dad taught me. Your face is too dangerous, cough-cough."

The little girl threw herself into the woman's arms, "Wow! Mom, Mom, stop, I... I haven't learned yet, you have to continue... continue to teach me."

"Hey, listen to me." The woman tried to smile. "Learn to protect yourself and put on makeup. Your eyes resemble mine a lot. The Xia family will definitely exploit you."

The little girl cried, shaking her head and calling her mother. "A-Miao! A-Miao!" The screams outside the door interrupted her memories. A-Miao rubbed her face and took back her tears. She shouted, "I am changing clothes."
