I felt the sunlight hit my face and I knew it was time to get up. Taking a look at the digital alarm clock that sat on my nightstand I knew I only had a few minutes left before it would go off and I would have to get up and get ready for work. I savoured the remaining minutes smelling my fresh sheets and thinking of everything that has transpired during the last one week after I agreed to help Drew and his brothers.

From the little information I was able to gather, there hadn't been any accidents in the building for over ten years. So, the probability of them having the accident that turned them into ghosts happening in my apartment was struck out. I also found out that their names didn't come up on the tenant records of the building which could only mean that they never rented an apartment in this building but Drew still sticks to the fact that this was where they lived.

Everything was getting a lot more confusing. What I've been able to find out from my little research about them w

Three hours, thirty-three minutes and twenty-four seconds later into work and I'm already getting a monstrous headache. Point taken, having a ghost hovering over my head as I try to figure out a good enough topic for the upcoming time's magazine, is detrimental to my health. “Can you at least find somewhere to sit down?“ I shouted, “You've been pacing non-stop since I got to the office and believe me when I say that you're being a major distraction.“ "Oh, sorry," he said and stopped his pacing. Finally, some peace and quietness, I said to myself as I began working again. "So…"Here we go again, I mumbled under my breath. It's been barely a minute and I couldn't even enjoy the quietness I wanted. "What is it this time around?" I asked, already frustrated by the unasked question. "What are you working on?“ He asked.I looked up at him puzzled. I wasn't expecting that question since he has been troubling me about finding a solution to their issue. "Pardon?""What are you working o

How do I tell her that I wasn't talking to anyone on the phone but rather there's a ghost in my office and we were having a discussion? That's going to sound silly and crazy. No one in their right state of mind is going to believe that. I know I've told Cassie before now that there were ghosts in my house but what if she didn't take me seriously. Yes, she is my best friend and all but there's a limit to what someone can believe.Let's be logical here, you can't just tell your best friend that you saw pigs flying and then she will believe it because both of you are friends. So, I decided to go with whatever she had concluded. ‘Yeah, I was talking with someone on the phone."“Arright, so I'm Just going to give you the highlights of the information I have gathered on Maria,“ She started, getting down to business."Good."“So,“ Cassie began. “Maria De Capo worked as an art editor at our company for ten years. It's amazing how my best friend can switch her moods easily. That's one of the reasons why I love her. We complement each other so well. “No, you're not sitting on him. He is behind you,“ I informed her. “Are you serious?“ She asked, fear evident on her face. “Damn serious,“ I assured her, nodding my head in the process. Drew on the other hand glided behind the chair Cassie sat on and began making some spooky faces close to her. I don't know if that was meant to be scary but it was making me want to laugh. Seeing that his efforts at making scary faces weren't working, he moved on to a fun dance that I don't even want to know about its origin.Wait. Let's go back for a second I think I've seen that dance in a movie.Yeah, the scooby doo and shaggy dance. I've got to give it to him. He was making a good replica of the dance although there was no Scooby to accompany him. The thought of Drew dancing with a dog made me almost laugh out loud but I tried to suppress it. The cab pulled up to a luxury shop on the fifth avenue. I gave the cab driver his money, tipping him in the process before I opened the door and came down. "Remind me why we are at a luxury shop again?“ Drew asked. “Because the recent clue led us here“ I replied ‘"I don't see the connection, Amanda,“ he stated. “How does our story connect with a luxurious boutique?“ He asked. "That's what we are here to find out," I replied as I began walking towards the door of the Mall “And lest I forget, it's not a boutique but a mall." I corrected him."I don't see the difference," Drew muttered before continuing with his speech. "There's a boutique in the mall and we are clearly headed towards it,“ he pointed out.I snorted. "That's because it's on the first-floor dimwit.“ “Are you here to get a change of wardrobe?“ Drew asked as I got to the door of the boutique. I opened the door and got inside before giving him a reply. "That wouldn't be a bad idea. Since I'm here already, I might as wel

Lucas Grendel! “What's the ever so busy Amanda doing in a boutique?" He asked as he walked towards me. "That's none of your business," I replied coldly. “Haha," he laughed. "I see that you still have this cold attitude. I was hoping you would decide to be a bit warm given the fact that you walked into the cosmetic section of a mall?“ I rolled my eyes. It was obvious that he was just here to cause trouble. Unfortunately, I wasn't interested in talking with thrash. “Grow up, Lucas," I replied before giving my attention back to the sales rep. “Can you please continue with what you were saying?""Huh?" the sales rep replied, confused.I believed Lucas' interruption had made her forget what she wanted to say. Honestly, I don't blame her. “You were explaining how I would use this product," I urged her on, showing the primer that she had placed in my hands before Lucas arrived. "Umm, yeah,“ She replied, gaining her composure. “You're to apply this on your face before any other-“ “Wh

“You know, I'm so happy that I could literally kiss you right now,“ I Informed Drew happily. He had an amused look on his face and I couldn't help but ask. ‘What?" I asked. "Nothing," He replied, still smiling.“Why are you staring at me like I said something stupid?" "Probably because you did say something… hot but definitely, stupid," he muttered.I scrunch my nose when I realized something. “Oh, I forgot you're a ghost.“ “Yes, I am and I've got two brothers who are ghosts also,“ He reminded me. “But that doesn't mean you can't be kissed,“ I said. “I can see you, speak to you and even touch you,“ I explained “So? That doesn't explain anything,“ Drew countered. “Actually, it does.“ I insisted. "Can you explain what you're implying?""I'm not implying anything. Rather, I'm just trying to conclude reality. You can be kissed,‘ I stated firmly. Honestly, I don't know why I'm having this argument with Drew. I can see people starting to give me a confused stare as they pass by. Th

“When is the panda coming back?“ Calvin whined in the sitting room of Amanda's apartment. “Shut up, Calvin You are disturbing my rest," Mason reprimanded him from the sofa where he was resting “Les fantomes ne dorment. pas, alors arrete dessayer." (Ghosts don't sleep, so stop trying.) “Je n'ai pas dit que je dormais, cretin Jai dit repos. Notez la difference. (I didn't say I was sleeping, moron. I said rest. Note the difference)" Mason corrected. Calvin rolled his eyes. “Quoi que“ (Whatever) There was a click in the door of the apartment, and Calvin gilded happily towards it. “Panda," he squealed, hugging her as soon as she entered her apartment. ‘It's Amanda, for the nth time, Calvin,“ Mason corrected from behind. He had also glided towards the door of the apartment to welcome Amanda, but he would never agree to it. Calvin stuck his tongue out towards Mason. "I don't see her complaining,“ He said. "That wasn't just a mere shout," Calvin whispered to Mason. “Yeah, I know. It sounded like something terrible happened," Mason replied, pondering on what could have happened in the few moments Drew left them. “What do you think happened?“ Calvin asked Mason. “How am I supposed to know? I was right here with you, remember?“ “Let's ask Drew then," Calvin suggested.Mason gave his younger brother an eye roll. “Why are you so dense? We just asked him and he said nothing. It's probably something embarrassing that's why he doesn't want to tell us.“ he muttered."I believe you guys are aware that I can hear you?" Drew interrupted. Calvin smiled, “Oh, we weren't trying to hide it from you.“ Drew decided to ignore his brothers and meandered out of the sitting room completely. Calvin and Mason, on the other hand, didn't notice his total absence as they were both caught up in figuring out what happened between Amanda and their elder brother. Drew had two options at the moment. Either he l

“Shit," I muttered under my breath, avoiding eye contact with Leslie. I couldn't believe the kind of shitty luck I had. The very person whom I was trying to avoid, stood before me. There was no way for me to escape so I garnered what was left of my courage to face her. “Hey, Leslie. It's surprising to see you here this early," I said, laughing awkwardly. Leslie gave me a stern look. “Indeed,” She smirked.“Botox bitch," I muttered under my breath. “So, do you need my help with anything?" I asked her. Even though I was late, it was surprising to see her on this floor so early in the morning. There must have been a reason why she had decided to grace us with her unwilling presence. “Well, I needed to check on a particular person to see how far they had gone with the upcoming project. But, imagine my surprise when I found the office empty with neither the assistant nor Editor in sight,“ she said I sighed. “Sorry, I am late. But the reasons are beyond my power. There was nothing I

His hands held the sides of my head as he began thrusting into my mouth, loud grunts leaving his mouth. His head was tipped backwards in pleasure and his moans were driving me nuts with pleasure. There was a feeling of pride in hearing him express the effect I had on him through his moans. It was fuel for me to do more. I took more of him into my mouth as my hands moved down between my legs to pleasure myself.I could feel he was close to the edge and I rubbed myself quickly, hoping to come along with him. Within seconds, he stiffened and I could feel warm liquid slip into my mouth. My orgasm hit me immediately like a wave and my legs shook with pleasure. I took all of his cum, swallowing them and not letting any slip out of my mouth. “God, you are incredible,“ Drew muttered, watching me swallow his cum. I giggled in response, standing up from my kneeling position. “Come here," he commanded, drawing me close to him. He kissed me deeply and senselessly. “You are going to be the deat

I ran the water in my bathroom, hoping to take a quick shower before going to work. The coffee had helped in waking my sleepy bones but I still felt weak. If only I could spend the day indoors and not go to work, I thought. But that would never happen. Leslie would see it as an opportunity to chastise me and give me a query. That was something I wasn't interested in. The water heated up and I quickly jumped into the shower. I squeezed a reasonable amount of my shower gel into my hands and applied it to my body. I didn't bother with washing my hair because that would take more of my time which was the opposite of what I wanted to achieve. After applying the shower gel to my body, I ducked my head under the shower to rinse the soap off. The action prompted me to close my eyes to prevent the soapy water from entering them. I felt a hand wrap around my waist and I jumped in shock thinking an intruder had entered my house. I opened my eyes quickly to see who it was, forgetting that I st

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. My head felt like there were so many pins attached to it and I couldn't make clear what happened the previous night. I was tired and felt like I had been run over by a truck. Fuck, I am never letting Cassie take me clubbing again. I muttered "I support that idea," Drew chuckled, walking into my room with a cup of coffee. He was shirtless and I got a flashback of what happened the previous night. He had given me the best orgasm of my life and unfortunately I had slept off after it. My body was exhausted. Although the release had helped in calming down the stress hormones raging around me. Drew strolled towards me and handed the coffee to me. I smiled and gladly took it from his hands, muttering a thank you. I blew on the hot coffee and took a sip. God, it was marvelous. I moaned in satisfaction, enjoying how he took great precaution in making it just how I loved it. “God, this is amazing,“ I moaned. Drew chuckled. “Only you think that

Drew leaned forward slowly, eyeing my lips, seeking permission to ask for more. I didn't deny him. I let him indulge just as I was enjoying the indulgence myself. We connected again and continued kissing on my bed. I slid further into the bed drawing him along with me. The kiss altered from rough to slow and sensual. I had to give him credit for being able to bring me to my knees with a kiss. His hands continued to explore my body. They ran the length of my body, cupping my breast and I ached into him. He dragged his hands down my abdomen, then further down my leg before he slowly slid up my thighs leaving a trail of fire in their path. A pool of wetness gathered between my thighs as I waited in anticipation for his hands to get to their destination. I spread my legs further apart giving him the permission he needed to touch me deeply. I have craved this for so long and it was about to happen. I couldn't help but Iean into his touch. A soft moan escaped me as he sucked on my bottom

“Damn, your body is a pure work of art," Drew groaned, his hands roaming around my naked flesh. "I could touch it every day without getting satisfied,“ he added, his hands coming up to knead my breasts. Somewhere along the line, our position on the sofa had changed. I was sitting on his lap, my back resting on his hard chest. I could feel the heat radiating from his skin onto mine. I leaned back into him, tilting my head to the side so he could have full access to my body. I was already far gone and there was no way I was going to be listening to any rational thoughts coming from my brain. I was acting plainly on what my body wanted. I needed to be satisfied after being starved of this pleasure for months. I ground myself on him and he placed a hand on my waist to stop me. I made a sound of disappointment, not liking that he had cut my mission short. “Slow down, babe. We will get there. Let me appreciate your body first," he stated. "I dont need any of that. Just touch me," I dem

I walked into my apartment to meet it the same way I had left it. There was no sign of Drew and I wondered if he had forgotten his way to my place. That can't happen because this was somewhere he and his brothers had stayed for years. Maybe he went to get something I concluded. With that thought in mind I meandered to my bedroom to rid myself of the clothes I was wearing. Cassie had gone all out with my birthday attire. lt was a gift from her and she had pleaded for me to wear it to the party. It was a beautiful black gown that clung to my body and accentuated my curves. I had loved it immediately I saw it but there was no fun if I had just put it on without stressing Cassie a bit. I stumbled into my bedroom, flinging the shoes in the process. Damn, those heels had been killing me all through the night. When I had been dancing with it, I hadn't felt the pain but now that my legs were no longer in motion, it felt like there was no flow of blood to my legs. I quickly stripped myself

"What the fuck is going on?“ I muttered under my breath. There was no way it was possible that Cassie could see Drew. This was the very same person she didn't know was hovering over her head at my office, a few months back. How is it possible that she was able to see him? “Hey, Ama. Aren't you going to introduce him to me?" She asked, giggling.Drew laughed. “Guess, your friend is way more drunk than you," he whistled.“Shut up, Drew. I am trying to process this situation," I barked. He laughed. “What's there to process? Your friend is drunk which explains why she can see me. Or, is there any other explanation?“ He asked.I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, you are right," I agreed. “So, would you do me the honours or I should do it myself?“ He asked, grinning. “What are you talking about?“ I asked, confused. Drew rolled his eyes. "I forgot that you were drunk also," he muttered. I snorted “What? No way. I am not drunk, okay?“ “Yeah, you waving like a flag is an illusion," he replied, sarc

"Umm, hey Cas. I am going to head back home now. I am a bit tired and tipsy from all the alcohol," I told her, catching up to her at the bar. “What? Why? We are just getting started on your birthday party. You can't leave before everyone,“ she said, her eyes heavy with alcohol. “Seriously, Cas. We have been drinking and partying for more than five hours now. The alcohol in you is not making you think logically. I think it's time we call it a night," I told her, taking the drink from her and returning it to the bartender. “Come on, Ama That's my drink," she whined. “No, it isn't. You need to stop and go home now. We have work to do tomorrow and I wouldn't want both of us to be dead drunk before then. Not like we aren't drunk already,“ I said, muttering the last part to myself. “Fine," she grumbled, leaving the bar. “Let me get my purse and say goodbye to the others," she said.“Sure. That sounds fine to me. I need to also thank them for coming,” I said following after her to the V
