"You....!!!" Felix's reply not only made Nick irked enough but he was even about to spit out some cuss words.

Swallowing his anger he pointed his finger to Felix, "Look kiddo! You should know how to talk with your seniors. If you want to be a part of this team, then do keep in mind that whatever you speak, just think twice before speaking otherwise outcome won't be so well next time."

"Are you threatening him?" Alex who was laughing just a few seconds ago suddenly became serious and glared at him.

How can she be quiet after getting to know that someone is trying to threaten Felix? Of course! Alex and Nick have been a part of the team since long ago and have worked in so many investigations together. Yet, she never actually liked Nick's personality. Although she never hated him. But, that doesn't mean she was fond of him either. Their chemistry was really awful.

On the other hand, even though she just met Felix a few hours ago, she was already impressed by him. As to what impressed her about Felix? No one knew that except herself.

The moment Felix entered the studio, she scanned him with her eyes, and her stare was fixed on his pitch-black eyes. When she saw him, she could see the respect and admiration he had for her beauty. His eyes never wandered. Those pitch-black eyes always remained on her face, unlike most of the guys who just stare at her body from time to time with malicious intentions.

From the beginning, Felix was conversing with Celia, Veronica, and herself while looking at their faces. She could see how surprised he was after witnessing such beauties. She could somewhat guess that Felix didn't seem like a guy who actually had any girlfriend.

Talking while staring at their faces. Just that one little gesture of him made her so much impressed and she was already looking forward to having tours with him.

And, now Nick was trying to threaten him on his very first day? Moreover, Felix being the youngest, Nick actually went after him? How can she remain calm then? Who the heck Nick is, trying to scare her belonging? This is what was going through in her mind right now.

"I'm not threatening him. Just giving him some instructions that he should follow," replied Nick.

"For instructions, our Leader is there and then I'm here too. You don't need to tell him anything," she scoffed.

'Tch... You old nanny. Don't think just because you came into the team a little before me, you can boss me around. I'll remember this. And this Felix, I'll make sure he knows his place. Let's see what you can do at the investigation. Enjoy till you can brat,'

Nick muttered inwardly after Alex just silenced him.

"Hmph! Anyway! Felix boi! If this guy ever says anything mean to you just inform me okay?"

"Huh!? Hmmm...!" Bobbing his head slowly, he didn't know what else to say.

"Felix! If you are in a problem then you can talk to me. I'll handle it for you," Celia chimed in after listening to Alex.

Indirectly, what Celia said was the same as Alex. She couldn't say it directly like her since she was the junior here and couldn't disrespect Nick. Thus, the only option for her to go was to say it indirectly.

Nick currently was fuming in resentment. Not only Alex but Celia too took sides of Felix. Words can't describe how frustrated he was right now.

'Why Celia why? Why are you taking his side? We've known each other since you joined this team. But this guy... You just met him a few hours ago and you are already betraying your Senior here? Why my Celia? Why?' He muttered in his heart as he gazed at Celia with dejected eyes.

"Okay, guys!! We are here..." Mike announced.

Thereafter, everyone came out of their cars carrying their respective luggage.

Alex after hopping out immediately glanced at Felix, "Felix boi! Heehee~ I'm taller than you." She uttered in a playful voice.

"Eh?" Directing his gaze on her, he eyed her from toe to head.

"Ahem! Well! That's because of the high soles that your sneakers have. Miss Alex!"

"Again miss Alex? How many times I've told you, Felix? Just call me with my name."

"Okay... Al...Alex."

"Fufu~ now that's the way. As for your previous reply... No! Even without wearing my sneakers, I think I'm still a bit taller than you."

"Well! I think we might be of equal heights."

"No! I think I'm taller." *Winks*

"Umm... Then, I don't think you are taller than me by more than 2 cms."

"Fufu~ Right! I can agree with that. I might be taller but just a little bit."

Smilingly, she peeked at him and discovered that he appeared too cute while he was embarrassed. She instantly fed this information into her mind.

She was impressed by how he actually accepted the truth instead of getting irritated or feeling humiliated. His straightforward honesty fascinated her the most.

Very soon they were now seated in their respective seats in the plane.

They were in an economy class of the plane. There were 2 seats adjoined together on the left and similarly on the right as well. In the middle, 4 seats were connected and there were 2 passageways for the passengers as well as for air hostesses to walk.

Celia and Veronica were seated together on the left side and Nick, Mike, Paul being in the middle. The two cameramen, Rob and Steve were on the backside together.

"I hate it so much. Why they don't provide us with at least business class?" Alex complained.

She was seated on the right window seat and as expected Felix was right beside her. How can she let her Felix boi sit somewhere else?

"Well! The show is going through some tough times, So I can't complain. Also, it's only a flight of 4 and a half hours. Los Angeles isn't that far from Canada so, it's only obvious that our tickets would be of economy class," Felix replied, glimpsing at her despondent look.

"Oh! So you know about it too? Yeah! You are right! I hope the show will regain its former glory otherwise we'll have to quit."

"So? What was the cause? Can you tell me something more about the situation here Miss Alex?"

"You again calling me with honorifics?"

"Alex... then..."

"Hmm! Good! Felix boi. You know that Ghost Busters never post any fake content. We are known for our genuine content. It's totally against our rules to show any fake content to the public. And, for few months, wherever we investigated, we just didn't get any shreds of evidence and much to show to the public. This not only made our viewers disinterested but they started getting bored. And, if this keeps going on then..."

"I see! Then? You didn't come up with any solution?"

"You think there's any solution Felix boi? It's against our rules to show any fake content. What can we do else? Our continuous downfall of the viewers has made the channel reconsider our show. Ghost Busters was the show created and started by Mister George with a team consisting of his colleagues. That was the golden era of the show. Later on, he passed his show to his son Derek."

"Then?"

"Then, Derek created a different team since the old team members decided to retire. We are that team. But, after a few of our investigations recently, we got very little to show, and that made our viewers unhappy. You know!? Our show is telecasted on one of the best infotainment channels. But, they have already notified Sir Derek, that if the show's view count keeps getting lower and lower then, they'll just end the contract explicitly."

"Isn't that against the rules?"

"No!" She shook her head in dismissal. "They already had an agreement. To telecast a show, the show must maintain an average rating of 5 out of 10. If this condition is not satisfied then, the channel will take the action to end the contract explicitly. Thus, ending your show right there."

"And what's our rating?"

Hearing his question, she glanced at him with her brows frowned, "It's... It's not good Felix. Our rating is just 5.5!" She smiled wryly as she continued. "Earlier it was 6.2 and after a couple of our past episodes, it went down by 0.7!"

"This is really a problem!"

"Hmm!! I think that's the reason why Mister George invited you. Because there's no way he would take such action when we are already in a tight spot. I think he believes only you can fix our situation now. If that's the case, then Felix boi it's my request too. Please! Do your best in the investigations. Although, it doesn't depend on you at all. I mean... how can I request you this? Because it totally depends on our luck whether we'll get any pieces of evidence or not."

"Don't worry! I'll do my best!"

Seeing him smiling, she couldn't help but return his smile.

"I have one more question, Alex!"

"Oh? Then ask..."

"Why does senior Nick calls you an old nanny? You are one of the most beautiful ladies I've ever seen in my entire life including Miss Veronica and Celia. Then why does Senior Nick can't see?" He finally asked what he was greatly confused about.

Taken aback by his sudden question, she stared at him with wide eyes. He looked so serious and honest while asking that. She couldn't help but turn her head towards the window. Her cheeks blushing slightly, a sight which no one could see. A moment later, she glanced at him again who was waiting for her reply while tilting his head in confusion.

'He's too fucking cute. Alexandra Jones! Control yourself. You cannot pounce on him like that,' she muttered inwardly.

"Ahem!" Clearing her throat she voiced out. "Nick calls me like that because he thinks I'm like an old nanny who only knows how to complain and scold. Tell me Felix boi!? Do you truly think I'm an old nanny?"

"No way!!! Only an idiot would think like that."

"Pffttt... Hahahahaha!"

"Why did you laugh?"

"You just called Nick an idiot indirectly hehe~"

"Ehh!!?"

All of a sudden, she bent towards him slightly, "You said I'm one of the most beautiful ladies you have ever seen. Then, who's the most beautiful?"

"That... Umm... What I meant to say is that you, Miss Veronica, and Celia are the most beautiful ladies I've ever seen."

"That is what I'm asking. Who's the most beautiful among us then!?" She smiled mischievously, her enchanting blue eyes trying to dig deeper into him while he sweated profusely.
