Giovanni's Perspective

Her tears irritated me beyond belief, but the thought of her lies—the thought that every moment I had spent with her had been an elaborate deception she had created—made anger boil uncontrollably in my blood.

It took everything I had to resist the urge to dry her tears. My fingers tapped on the table as the minutes ticked by.

Finally, she looked up at me and said, "Since you hate me so much, please REJECT me."

With that, the string of sanity in my mind instantly snapped. Moonlight spilled into the room through the gap in the curtains, casting a hazy glow. I stood in the center of the room, my clenched fists already white, the anger in my heart nearly tearing me apart.

The whole world seemed to be trembling ever since that abominable lie was revealed. How dare she treat me in such a despicable way? How dare she try to continue deceiving me with false appearances?
