“I don’t want that throne, that is why I am not even thinking about going after whoever is seated on it right now,” Aldric answered. “But if they are going to chase us and rob our peace from us, we have to put them where they are supposed to stand before us.”

“I agree,” Ethan also added. “Someone told me, this battle is already blessed by the Moon Goddess in favor of us. So, victory is just waiting for us to be claimed.”

“Who told you that?” Lexy asked. She looked up to meet Ethan’s gaze. Her mien sported amazement to hear victory was like a promised one already.

“Someone very special. Special to me, and special to you as well,” Ethan spoke ambiguously again.

“Who? Tell me…” Lexy insisted.

Lexy paused and moved her head back a little as if letting her brain process the words that her ears just received. She blinked her eyes.
