There was a chirping sound of the canned beer after Porter flipped its can opener. He gave me one and the other one for Kevin.
“Since when did we have store canned beers in the fridge?” I asked in wonder while flipping the can opener.
Kevin and Porter suddenly exchanged bothered glimpses. I can sense they were completely hiding something of me. Kevin’s unusual heartbeats proved it.
Perhaps it was connected as to what Miya had said earlier about me being gone for days.
“Okay, spit out or I’m gonna kill you both. What really happens to me these past few days?” I forcibly asked.
“So, umm, here’s an honest way of telling you that happened…”
