Goldman had called Patty on her cell as soon as she and Carter parked in her driveway. He had said he got off of work early and wanted Patty to come over his house. He had a surprise for her. She had told him she would be right over. Patty was planning to see him after he got off from work, anyway. She was going to tell him she was pregnant.
