Nine weeks later . . .

Jodi Garvey was in her room with her husband to be. They were discussing their future living arrangements.

“Bunny, you were okay with moving in my house a couple of months ago,” Matt stated. “What’s changed?”

“Nothing, I want to live in your house and keep my room here, too,” Jodi said. “That’s not a crime.”

“What for?”

“What’s the big deal?” Jodi asked as she sat on the edge of the bed.

“You just answered my question with a question,” Matt said. “What is it really, Jodi?”
