CHAPTER 13

The market buzzed with activity. The air was thick with the smell of wares,iron,spices , livestock, veggies and fresh varieties.

Wolves from all parts of Lycester crowded the market. The males were shopping for weapons.

Lycester consisted of a span of rather protective packs.

Some wolves dragged some chained rouges on the streets of the busy market as they marched wearily. My heart went out to them, but I recalled why I was here in the first instance. Pity brought me here.

I had just had to learn the hard way.

I took a stroll skidding like a three year old with glee. Lycester was beautiful. This was the first time I had come out since I got to my beloved aunt Maya's home. I would always lock myself upstairs and wonder how he was faring, then I cry myself to sleep. It had become a routine. I had not accepted his rejection.
