Chapter 14

“Ahh, finally! I'm back, my precious bed!” Soheila shouted when she entered her room.

“Luna's father is too talkative while Luna doesn't talk that much. Just like teacher Pierre, I can't Identify his strength level, too. Suspicious... never mind, it is none of my business.” She lay down on her soft bed as she rests her left hand at the back of her head.

“Master, you're back!” Little Black shouted when he entered the room with Sylvie.

Soheila got up and beckoned them to come forward. “Where did you guys go when I was away?”

Little Black hopped to the bed. “Master, we went to a park! It has swings, slides, and I don't know what the others are called.”

Little Black remembered how Sylvie pushed the swing for him, but before he could be overjoyed, he fell.

Sylvie laughed as she also remembered how Little Black fell on the swing.

Soheila saw Little Black getting embarrassed while Sylvie chuckling. She looked at them and patted their heads, and asked, “Okay, what's going on?”

“Ma... Master! Hahahaha! Master, Little Black... Hahahahaha!” Sylvie's calm face was gone as she laughed so hard that she could not even explain properly.

Little Black got more embarrassed by Sylvie's reaction. His reaction was too cute since his cheek was blowing.

“Wow, nice laugh Sylvie. I understand your explanation.” Soheila fake laughed as she patted Sylvie's head.

Sylvie stopped laughing when she heard Soheila. “Ehem, Master, Little Black fell on the swing.” She told Soheila what happened to them a while ago.

Soheila laughed so hard along with Sylvie when she finished explaining. Little Black glared at them and felt more embarrassed.

“Stop it! Stop laughing! It was not funny!” Little Black angrily shouted at them. His body was standing while his hands were pointing at them at the same time with his tiny hands.

“Okay, okay,” Soheila pat him lightly as she stopped laughing and same as Sylvie who finally had a calm face like a dignified royal.

“I won't eat tonight. So, if you wanted to eat, asked them, okay? I would be busy, and I need a peaceful night.” Soheila said to them as she lay down once again and closed her eyes.

Sylvie and Little Black simultaneously nodded their heads and left the room. Soheila opened her eyes when she didn't feel their auras

“Okay, it's nighttime already. Later, I would sneak out, and go to the Library.” Soheila sat again as she crossed her legs and stare at the wall in front.

(I mean, sneaking out is way too easy for me. I was kind of a thief back on Earth plus my assassin skills. I'm bored back then, so I tried stealing.)

Soheila nodded her head as she thought that. “Yep, it's easy for me. Way too easy.”

She didn't get a chance to find books about the world. Soheila really needs to know where are the other continents since staying here won't help her a lot.

Finally, midnight came. A black slender figure was silently walking towards the library window. It was Soheila who was in black clothes. She was wearing a black fitted shirt, black leggings, and black shoes. Every step she made do not give any signs as if she was flying. When Soheila arrived at the window, she silently hopped in.

“It's too dark in here. It's great that I have good eyesight like a cat.” Soheila whispered as she finally entered the empty library.

Soheila looked around to see if someone was guarding.

𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥.

Soheila walks toward the bookshelves. She went to the bookshelf where the books are about the world.

(I should get 15 books since I wanted to finish these whole bookshelf about the 'world' fast. Time is precious, so do I. And I wanr ro be fr—huh?)

Soheila stopped what she was doing as she heard a noise. It was a noise coming from broken glass. Soheila quietly hid on the corner of the bookshelves.

“Who are you? Trespassing the library is prohibited.” A creepy voice of an old man can be heard around the library. Although it was not loud, the voice silently echoed.

“Hihi, come out, little one.” The creepy voice once again can be heard.

Soheila silently covered his mouth. She observed the old man who passed her hiding spot. He wore a black cape covering his face and had a long stick in his hands. His face was not visible, so, Soheila could not figure out who was this old man.

His figure was not the same as the librarian and so is his voice.

Soheila gazed at the old man who passed her hiding spot. The librarian can still stand straight while this old man had a hunchback or round back.

“I know you're hiding somewhere. Come out, dear...” The old man said in a creepy crack voice. His head was roaming around the library. He went to the shelf where Soheila was at.

(Congratualions, you knew I was hiding. It's good that I haven't got some books yet.)

Soheila felt relief that she didn't get any books. If she got even one, they will confirm that someone is really here. But Soheila was quite confused, how did they found out that she sneaks out into the Library.

Somehow, after some minutes, the old man finally left. And Soheila immediately took 15 books. She left after that, in case the old man came back again.

“That old man is creepy,” Soheila said as she sat on her bed.

“It's good that I still got 15 books from the library. But who is he? And how did he know I was there?” Soheila stares at the ceiling as she remembers how the old man also know that she was at the bookshelf where books are about the world.

Soheila shooked her head. “Agh! Never mind, I should just read.” She took one thick book from her spirit ring.

“The Sidee Kingdom was created by a King who was the strongest man in this Continent...” Soheila dictates the texts of the books. The first book's topic was the same as the one Soheila read yesterday.

Little Black and Sylvie who were outside entered Soheila's room. They were resting in the living room while Soheila was away. But they didn't know that Soheila sneaks out using the window in her room. They went inside as they wanted to sleep with Soheila.

Only to see Soheila reading fast. She was so busy reading as she didn't felt Little Black and Sylvie's presence. Little Black and Sylvie didn't want to disturb Soheila, so, they silently walk towards the bed.

Little Black and Sylvie looked at each other when they reached the bed. Soheila did not notice them even when the bed made a sound when Little Black and Sylvie hopped on the bed.

“Third book! I hope this is not the same.” Soheila said with her voice had a hint of frustration. She wasted her time reading the first two books since they had the same texts.

Seeing Soheila getting frustrated, Little Black and Sylvie really decided not to be noisy or even made a slight noise. Frustrated Soheila was scary since they experienced her 'wrath' last time when she got frustrated.

Little Black and Sylvie were just walking to the forest when they saw one petite figure of a girl. When they first saw her, they were speechless at Soheila's beauty. It was an unrivaled beauty that can ruin the whole world with just a smile. However, Soheila was not smiling instead, she was frowning.

“You freaking beast! I just got here, yet you freaking attacked me?!” Soheila stabbed the beast so many times.

Little Black and Sylvie felt pity for that beast. Nevertheless, they also feel scared when they faced Soheila. Although it was weird talking to a dead beast, they didn't want to make fun of her especially Little Black who was always laughing at people. Meanwhile, Soheila that time felt their presence when she was stabbing the dead beast. She looked at the two new auras. Suddenly, Soheila's frustration got away when she saw a chubby black hamster with soft fur and a tiny white fox who had the softest fur that makes Soheila wanted to touch it.

Remembering Soheila stabbing the beast too many times made their fur stand like an arrow. They watched the frustrated Soheila who was busy reading.

Meanwhile, Soheila was oblivious that Little Black and Sylvie's mind was about them witnessing her stabbing the dead beast. She was just reading the book seriously. The spirit energy here was way too thin that her rank level became too slow to rank up.

After an hour of watching Soheila reading, she suddenly hopped off her bed and raised her two hands. Soheila stretched her two hands and especially her back. She also massaged her head using her two soft hands.

“Ahh! Useless books! Why would the library put a bunch of books that have the same texts or plot?! I wasted my time again reading 15 books! Nevertheless, I won't give up.” Soheila said that with a quiet voice. She turned around and saw Little Black and Sylvie staring at her with their big, black, sparkling eyes. It was too cute as their eyes were way too black, and was sparkling, too. It feels as if it was the night sky.

Soheila smiled at them and hopped back on the bed. “You guys are here! Didn't feel any of you entered through.”

Little Black looked at his Master. “Master, you were just busy reading that you didn't notice us. We even made a sound.”

Soheila's smile was gone when she heard that.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧. 𝐌𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐬...

Soheila nodded as she thought that. The two cute beasts who were oblivious to why their Master was nodded did not find it weird. Their Master was too crazy that they often saw Soheila smiling and even laughing, although there's nothing to laugh at. At first, it was creepy, but now, it was normal to them seeing their Master being weird.

“Okay, we should sleep now! Next week, I heard that there would be a spirit beast selection. And we would choose either we just choose an egg from the academy or we choose an egg from a mission. The mission probably has an egg there. I wanted some thrill, so, I'll choose the mission.” Soheila said as she lay down and cuddled Sylvie and Little Black in her arms.

“Master, if you got another one, don't forget us!” Little Black said.

Soheila looked at them who were in her arms. “Of course, I won't! You both are my first spirit beasts. Although I don't have your strength, at least you guys are cute. Hahaha. I know both of you would help me someday and show your strength.” After saying that, she looked at the ceiling again.

𝐎𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐲𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲. 𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡.

Soheila hugged the two cute beasts on her arms tight as if afraid that they would leave her soon.

Soheila and the two cute spirit beasts finally slept peacefully.

“By the way, I would choose the mission option. How about you guys?” Soheila asked Sirene and the five birds.

Their four classes were done, and it is already afternoon. So, they are in the living room, just sitting. The two cute spirit beasts were out as always. Soheila always gives them gold coins as she wants them to enjoy.

Sirene looked at Soheila. “Same to you as well.”

Soheila turned. “That's good.”

“I as well.”

“I'm bored, so, I chose the mission option.”

“I'll go with the mission.”

“Me too.”

“Same.”

The five birds one by one told their plans that they would pick the mission option.

Sirene clapped her hands. “That's great! I found out that we could go in a group. So, shall we?”

“I'm in.” Soheila agreed to Soheila and the same as to the five birds.

“Soheila, your fight with my sister is in a month. So, what would you do? Aren't you going to prepare?” Luna remembered the fight between her sister and her roommate friend.

Soheila looked at Luna. “Prepare? I'm always prepared. Besides, that was just a child play.”

Her voice didn't seem so arrogant and wasn't full of narcissistic since Soheila just bluntly said that it was just child play. She said it with her straight face and calm voice!

That made Soheila's roommates speechless.

Sirene looked at Soheila.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭? 𝐒𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭.

“Ehem, let's change the topic. Where are the two spirit beast?” Sirene just changed the topic.

“They were put playing. Since they are spirit beasts, they are allowed to get out of the academy.” Soheila answered Sirene's question.

“Would that make them wonder who's the master of Little Black and Sylvie?” Hector asked Soheila.

Soheila wondered for a moment and turned her head. “I would confess that they're mine. However, I would gain more attention if I said that. Never mind, that someday would not be now.”

“Ah, right. You became well-known when you achieved the Yellow Rank Peak level. Also, your quarrel with the Second Princess. And if they knew that a Fifteen-Year-Old girl had spirit beast, not just one but two. They would be more shocked.” Hector said as he put his hand on his chin.

“That's right. The students would often gaze at us not because we're from a high family but because of Soheila.” Zachary said. He gazed at Soheila.

“I knew you were the new student that the Second Princess quarreled, too.” Sirene suddenly said to Soheila.

Soheila turned her head. “Yes, that's me. She's too childish, to be honest. No offense, okay.”

That's right, the Second Princess was too childish that if you take candy from her, she would get mad and worse cry.

“Ah, yes. She's quite annoying.” Luna was fine with how Soheila bad-mouths her sister.

Soheila nodded, and stand up from her seat. “Well, I'll be at my room if you guys need me.”

Soheila entered her room without waiting for her roommates' answer.
