Freya Rose

I stood in the magnificent entrance hall, silently trapped in my thoughts. I still had no clue whether or not Sam was playing me, and I didn't quite understand why it was bugging me so much. I mean, I was still in love with Mason, but I think the reason why I was so attracted to Sam right now, was because I was thinking logically. See, I didn't know if, or when, I was going to see Mason again. I also felt terribly guilty for what Kali did to the faction, and Evan, because of me. Even if I did manage to escape this place, how could I go back there? At the moment, I felt like I belonged here with these evil beings. I mean, I seem to bring nothing but death, misery and heartache wherever I go. Mason was better off without me, they all were.

A tear fell from my eye, and slid down my cheek, it then rolled all the way down to the corner of my mouth. I slipped my tongue out and licked it away as it kissed my lip. I took in a deep breath, and on my exhale I promised myself that was the last tear I would shed for myself. Feeling sorry for myself wasn't going to help me, it wasn't going to help me make it through this. I need to suck it up, and find my inner bitch. Maybe that's how Selene and Kali have survived all of these supernatural men? Jeremy placed his hand on my shoulder, instantly snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Freya, are you ok?” Jeremy asked me through a mind link.

His sudden touch, and his invasion of my mind, startled me and I reacted quickly. I lifted my hand and summoned an electrical fireball. I turned around and stared at him with a face like thunder. He held his hands up defensively and began to slowly back away from me. I aimed the fireball right at him, and his eyes instantly filled with fear.

“Freya, please calm down. What did I do wrong?” He yelled at me in a shaky voice, as he continued to back away from me.

I tilted my head to the side and smirked at him, I then turned my palm over and began to play with the fireball as I edged closer to him. Sparks of electricity shot up from the fireball and connected with my other hand, and it felt amazing. The ball was feeding me power, while I was feeding it energy, which was making it grow a little with every passing second. I managed to control my ascension, I had his attention already, I didn't need the overkill of ascending too.

“Did I not tell you, less than ten minutes ago, that if you touch me again, it would be the last thing you ever did as a living being?” I yelled at him.

“Yes... But...” He began to protest, but I didn't let him say another word. I played around with the fireball some more, as I asked him,

“Yes, who?”

He stared at me for a second, puzzled by my question. I rolled my eyes, and shook my head in frustration.

“My Queen! Look, Jeremy, play along. You can explain to me why you marked me later. For now, I need you to play along with my little show, okay?” I explained through our mind link.

I heard his heart rate slow right down, once he realized that I was only acting, and he wasn't actually going to be hurt. I smiled at him as he got down onto his knees again in front of me. He held his hands up and shouted out,

“Please, my Queen. Forgive me, I didn't mean you any harm. Forgive me, I beg you, have mercy.”

The commotion that we were making brought Kali and Sam back out to the landing.

“Freya! What the hell are you doing?” She screamed out to me.

Without even turning around to address her I shouted out,

“I told this piece of shit what would happen if he touched me again. He didn't listen, so now he must pay.”

“Seriously? For fuck sake. You haven't even been here five minutes and your trying to burn the house down. Boys!” She screeched into the air, I then heard her slap Sam, as she whined,

“I thought you said she was sweet?”

I heard Sam chuckle as around six hybrids, and Sam's twin brothers burst through the front doors and filled up the entrance hall. I gradually turned around to face them, and they instantly froze in front of me. They all hissed and held their arms out in front of them in a defensive stance, well, all except Ashtaroth and Andras, they had looks of amazement and cheeky grins on their faces. Much like the cheeky grin, I presumed Sam was wearing right now.

The twins walked around the back of the hybrids and made their way up the elegant stairs to join Kali and Samael. I kept my focus on the hybrids in front of me, I knew that Kali would call for them, but I was just expecting the two that were in the van, not another four of them. Either way, it didn't matter, I knew that she couldn't let them kill me, the council wouldn't allow it. So, I knew I could just have fun with it, and it had been a while since I'd had a good fight.

I added more energy into the fireball, as I swirled it around in my hands. It was getting really large now, and I was interested to see how big I could get it. It was now the size of a bowling ball, and it looked awesome. It was orange and blue with red hot lightning bolts shooting through it.

“What the hell are you doing? Stop standing there, and grab her!” Kali shouted out to her muscular minions.

“But, but, she's got a fucking fireball!” One of the minions replied.

“I don't care if she's got lasers shooting out of her fucking eyes, I gave you an order, now grab her!” She screeched into the air.

All six of her minions ascended instantly, it seems her screech was just like the shift order that Alpha's can do. Each one of them screeched into the air, and poor Jeremy fell to the floor holding onto his ears, the sound of all six of them even made my ears ring a little, so I couldn't imagine what he was going through. I watched as each hybrid finished their ascension, and glorious raven black wings fanned out from each of them. Their eyes weren't white like ours go when we fully ascend, but they were illuminated like hunters eyes go when we surge our power. They were brighter and more vibrant versions of their original color, but the swirling circles on these guys were gold.

I looked over at Jeremy for a split second, and I could see blood seeping through his fingers, and sliding down his hand. While I was distracted, one of Kali's hybrids saw it as the perfect opportunity to attack me, but luckily for me, I had Mina on my side,

“Freya, to your left, watch out!”

I could hear his heavy footsteps, smell the fear on him, and hear his heart pounding as he charged at me. Another decided to follow in his footsteps and began screaming as he also charged at me. I could hear Kali chuckling excitedly as two of her boys came at me. I wanted nothing more than to turn around and launch my fireball right at her extremely attractive face. But, I knew it wouldn't kill her, knowing my luck it would just wound her a bit. I wasn't ready to fight her yet, but I was ready to knock her down a peg or two. I rapidly spun around and hurled my giant fireball right at the two hybrids. They were luckily running side by side and with the size of the fireball, it managed to hit them both. It exploded on impact and sent the pair of them flying through the air. One crashed into a pillar by the front door, and the other went through the front door and rolled down the steps. I wasn't sure if I had killed them, and to be honest, I didn't really care. I quickly summoned another fire ball just in case the others decided to be brave, or stupid.

“Ahhhh! You stupid bitch, you're going to pay for that!” Kali screeched as she ascended.

I turned to face her, and she fanned out her huge jet-black wings. She then jumped up onto the railing, so that she was squatting on it like a damn gargoyle, she then held onto it with one hand and leapt off of it. Her wings fanned out further, as they guided her gracefully to the floor. I could hear her heels tap angrily against the tiled floor as she stomped towards me.

“I may not be a Phoenix like you, but I have been a hunter and a hybrid since before you could talk, you are no match for me Freya!” She said in a rough tone as she approached me.

I couldn’t be bothered to listen to her horse shit, so I hurled my fireball at her. She was much faster than I had anticipated, and as the fireball reached her, she vanished. The fireball flew past the duck egg blue circular couch, and then smashed through the large window that sat nestled in the archway. The glass shattered instantly upon impact, sending large shards of it flying out everywhere. I quickly turned around to see if I could find Kali, and as I turned around she grabbed my throat with her hand. She squeezed it so tight, that her nails pierced into my skin like razor blades.

I panicked as my air supply was quickly cut off. I then looked around the room as around a dozen men in black suits entered the hall. They didn't look shocked or scared by what was happening. I illuminated my eyes and saw that they all had pink auras. They must be the hunter's council members, I thought to myself. Realizing that I was getting lightheaded from the lack of oxygen, I quickly thought over my options. I knew she wouldn't kill me, but I didn't want to pass out either. That would make me look weak to her, and the council, and I didn’t think ascending would be enough.

“I'm in charge around here, the sooner you learn your place little wolf, the better,” Kali hissed at me.

I glared at her, then let a sadistic smile crawl across my face. I then lifted my head back as I ignited my entire body in flames. Kali immediately dropped me to the floor and held her burnt hand to her chest. I then howled into the air as I let Mina take over. I shifted within a few seconds; the flame's energy clearly speeded up the process. I was shocked to see that as Mina stood there growling at Kali, our wolf body was still engulfed in flames.

I took back control from Mina, because I didn't want her getting too carried away. I then moved my wolf eyes over to the council members, and they were standing there completely in awe of me. They began chattering between themselves, and as I tried to listen in, Kali screamed at me,

“You fucking bitch, you burnt my hand, what the hell is wrong with you?”

I rolled my wolf eyes, and then charged towards her. She quickly backed away from me, and I came to a standstill just in front of her, I then shifted back to my human form, I then barked at her,

“I am in charge from now on, you got it?”

“Urgh, fine, you're not worth the hassle,” she whined at me, and I couldn't help but chuckle inside.

“Good, now go and get my son from the van, and bring him to my room,” I demanded.

She didn't answer me, she just turned to look at the council members, and one of them nodded at her. She turned back to look at me, and with her uninjured hand, she clicked her fingers into the air. Two of her hybrids instantly left the house.

“He’s in the cells, they will bring him to you when they have finished their tests,” she said in a defeated tone.

She then huffed and walked back up the stairs towards Sam and the twins. I turned around and watched as she walked past Sam and down the hall. Ashtaroth and Andras began to follow behind her, but as I glanced up, my eyes connected with Sam's. He didn't move a muscle, he just gazed into my eyes. A cool breeze came flowing through the door, it swept my hair up, and as it did, my hair brushed against my nipples, making them harden. It was only then that I realized that I was completely naked.

My cheeks immediately flushed pink with embarrassment, and maybe slight insecurity. Sam smirked at me and I saw him blush too. I decided to try and keep my act up, I wanted everyone here to know that I meant business, so rather than cover up my nakedness, I stood up straight and proud. I then turned towards the council members and said in a firm voice,

“I am going to have a bath, and get changed. If you need me, then it will have to wait until tomorrow, I have had a very busy day.”

I then turned away from them and made my way up the stairs. They all gradually left the hall without saying a word. As I carried on up the stairs, Kali screamed out for Sam. He turned away from me and began walking towards the hallway.

“Sam?” I called out softly to him.

He stopped in his tracks but didn't turn around. Kali shouted out again, but this time he didn't move. I screamed out to her,

“He's busy showing me around!”

She fell silent, and I heard him snigger. When I finally reached him, I gently touched his arm, and spoke softly again,

“Sam?”

“Yes, Love?” He replied, and my heart skipped a beat at the sound of his deep velvety voice.

“Can you show me to my room, please? I think Jeremy's a little out of it,” I asked him quietly, as I removed my hand from his arm.

Within a split second, he grabbed my hand and put it through his arm. He then replied,

“Of course I can love. We really need to get you into some clothes.”

I furrowed my brow, wondering why I needed clothes, the hunters didn't seem that bothered, and Jeremy is used to seeing other werewolves naked. It couldn't be his brothers either, because they weren’t even out here anymore. I could hear Samael's heart beating faster as he turned around to face me, his eyes were coal black. I blushed with embarrassment as I suddenly realized why he wanted me to put on some clothes. I don't know why I didn't think of it straight away, of course, he would be attracted to my body, it's the damn same as Kali's.

He walked me all the way to the end of the corridor until we came to a circular little room. It had a beautiful gold and duck egg blue swirling design on the floor. Either side of the room were two gold tables with marble tops, each with matching cream and gold vases sitting on top of them. The vases were filled with cream roses, they both also had a gold ornate mirror above them. Above us was a beautiful crystal and gold chandelier. In front of us stood a set of double doors, they had gold pillars framing them. The doors themselves where cream in color, and in the middle of them was frosted glass. To finish the look they had two giant gold handles.

I stood still while Sam let my arm go, he walked forwards and swung open the doors. I expected him to step aside, and let me pass, but he didn't. Instead, he walked into the room and then disappeared. He then shouted out,

“Freya, are you coming in?”

I quickly snapped out of my beauty overloaded daze, and made my way into my new room. The color scheme was much the same, an off white, almost cream color, with duck egg blue and gold. There was a massive Queen size bed up against the back wall. It had cream bedding with duck egg blue damask design on it. The headboard was cream with a gold-painted trim. Behind that, on the wall was a panel with the blue damask pattern on it, and the edges were lit up with LED lights.

A panel was etched into the ceiling too, with LED lights around the edge, The dip and the entire ceiling was cream in color. There was another beautiful crystal and gold chandelier, and a huge window that stretched across most of the far wall. The window was lined by stunning cream voiles and gold drapes. There were a couple of cream and gold chairs, with duck egg blue scatter cushions, with a gold and marble-topped round table between them. There was also a gold regent style mirror on the wall above the table.

The room was beyond stunning, it was like a room fit for royalty, no expense was spared in this mansion. I almost felt bad for the damage I had just caused downstairs, although it was fun at the time. I strolled over to the bed, and then threw myself backwards onto it. I giggled as I bounced, and it made me sad, as I remembered a few times when I'd done that with Tristan. It seemed like that life was years ago, but it wasn't, I had been through so much in the last six months. I was surprised I hadn't gone insane and had a breakdown.

I sighed as I laid on the ridiculously comfy bed. I stared up at the stunning crystal chandelier above my head, and as I did, I made a deal with myself. While I was here I would leave my old life behind, focus on building my power and skills, so that I can take down Kali and the council, and anyone else that thinks that they can hurt me. I will make myself into the strongest supernatural being that I can be.

“Freya?” Sam called out to me quietly as he entered the room.

“Ahem, yeah?” I replied as I lifted myself up to look at him.

He had his suit jacket off, and he had rolled up his shirt sleeves to his elbows. He was wiping his hands on a fresh white towel as he made his way towards me. He then said in his usual velvety voice,

“I have run your bath for you. I put bubbles in it and a bath bomb, I thought that you would like to relax after,” he paused and shrugged his shoulders, then continued,

“well after everything really.”

He lowered his head, and I furrowed my brows with confusion as I watched sadness spread across his face. He tried to hide it by pretending to be focusing on drying his hands. I stood up from the bed and made my way over to him, and rested my hand on his shoulder, I then whispered into his ear,

“Thank you, Sam, that's very sweet of you.”

I then kissed his cheek, and then made my way into the bathroom. As I entered the bathroom, I heard the bedroom door quietly close. I looked around the bathroom, and it was just as stunning as the rest of the mansion. It had an arched window at the back of the room, that looked out onto the forest. There were mirrors all along the wall to my right, that sat over a marble sink and stunning carved wood cupboards. The cupboards were painted and off white, and had gold handles. There was also a huge glass box shower, more than big enough for two, and next to it was a sunken bath, that was surrounded by marble tiles.

I then made my way over to the toilet and sat down to have a pee, I then wiped and flushed. Even the toilet handle is made of gold, how much damn money do these people have? I thought to myself as I made my way back over to the bath. I swished the bubbled water with my hand to check that the temperature was ok, and it was perfect. So, I stepped into it, and then lowered myself into the silky soft water. I instantly lowered my head back and let the warm water soak into my hair.

After a while of just soaking in the bath, letting the water settle around me, I raised myself up and looked for some shampoo. On the corner of the bathtub were some expensive looking shampoo, conditioner, body wash and some other bits and bobs. They all had fancy gold French writing on them. I was never any good at French at school, so I had no clue what they said. I just guessed the best that I could, and hoped that I used them for the right purpose.

Once washed and smelling like a flower garden, I decided it was best that I got out of the bath. I looked down and my fingers had turned all pruney looking, yup, definitely time to get out, I giggled to myself. I pulled the plug out and stepped out of the bath, I then wrapped my hair up and put a towel around myself. I noticed a black suit jacket on the Edwardian style chair by the sink, and thought that it must have been Sam's, so I picked it up and carried it back into the bedroom with me.

I made my way over to the bed and threw the jacket onto it, I then took my towel off and found some new underwear in a set of draws. I put on a black lacy bra and a black thong. I then found a black dressing gown hanging near the dressing table and put that on. It was a little too see-through for my liking, but I was going to get dressed soon anyway, so I didn't let it bother me. I sat down at the dressing table and took off the towel that was on my head. I dried my hair and put it in a low ponytail. I then stood up and went to find the closet.

“Oh, I'm so sorry love. I thought you would have been dressed by now. I, um, just came to get my jacket,” Samael said nervously as he pointed to it on the bed.

He then turned away from me and sidestepped like a crab towards the bed. I laughed out loud, and then said between giggles,

“Sorry Sam, I'll put some clothes on, one sec.”

He picked up his jacket and put it on. I watched him as he straightened up the collar, and then slid his fingers through his hair. I heard him gulp, and his heart was going like a freight train. I smiled, and now I knew exactly what Tristan meant when he said he knew when he was turning me on. It was such a turn on, to know how much you were affecting someone. Sam’s scent had changed, his heart was racing, and he didn't know that I knew.

“You can turn around now,” I said in a sultry voice, and he slowly turned around to face me. “Is that better?” I asked him, as I stood there in just my underwear. I had my arms spread behind me on the dressing table, so that I could arch my back a bit, and push out my chest further.

He held onto his eyebrows with his thumb and his finger, as he lowered his head down and closed his eyes. He then shook his head, like he was telling himself off. He then suddenly opened his eyes again and peered sideways at me. His eyes were jet black again, and he then suddenly rushed at me. He lifted me up and around his waist as he slammed his soft plump lips onto mine. His breath was heavy and labored, as he frantically kissed me. It was like he couldn't get enough of me.

He carried me over to the bed and delicately placed me onto it. Our kiss deepened and it was like we'd been dehydrated in the desert, and we were now each other’s first drop of fresh water. He then said in a deep velvety voice,

“Freya, what are you doing to me? You're going to get me killed, you know that?”

Freya RoseThere was no denying that Tristan felt Selene's power, I was pretty much immune to it now, but when she turned it on, she had wolves falling at her feet. And that is exactly what Elsa, Tyler and Cassie did. I looked around and even saw a few of the crowd kneel down on the floor. I hadn't bothered to find out if more wolves were here, but now I knew they were.“I'm sorry Goddess, I... Please forgive me,” Tristan replied.Marik laughed, so I dug my claws into his hip even more. I could feel blood running down his skin, so I quickly pulled my hand away slightly. He raised his eyebrow at me and then grabbed a hold of my hand through his t-shirt and shoved it back down, shoving my claws deeper into his skin. He sucked in some air with pleasure and I couldn't do anything apart from worry about what he had in store for me later. He winked at me and then addressed his mother,&

Freya RoseWe pulled up into the Edmonton mall parking lot, and I was so excited to see Cass and Tyler again. It had been way too long. As I got out of the car I looked up into the sky and far off in the distance I saw that the sky was dark and stormy. I stared at it for a second and I'm sure I saw green lightning. I shrugged it off as lack of sleep and then turned around to wait for the rest of the pack to join me. I stood there in awe as the twins walked over towards me. I hadn't really just stood an admired them, but they were definitely a sight to behold.Traian was wearing a black pair of jeans with a white short-sleeved shirt that clung to his large arms. His raven black hair was lightly swept back, and even his walk commanded respect. His golden-brown eyes didn't leave mine as he came towards me, and the closer he got the wider his smile grew, showing off his perfectly straight white teeth. I looked over to Mar

Freya RoseI must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes, I was tucked up in Finnley's bed. I didn't know how long I had been asleep, but it must have been at least a few hours, because the sun was shining beautifully through the sides of the drapes. It lit the room enough for me to see but wasn't overpowering. I stretched and rubbed my sore eyes, all that crying had them feeling like I'd cleaned them with razor blades. I gradually sat up and listened to see if I could hear anything. But I couldn't, the cabin was silent. I got out of bed and made my way towards the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, I had a pee and washed my hands and face. I took my hair out and let it fall down my back in soft waves. I then stood there for a while with my hands on the sink, just staring at my reflection.I was completely heartbroken, and in all honesty, all I wanted to do was curl up in bed and hide away from the world

Freya RoseI stepped away from Chase's dead body as it shifted back into his human form. The pack rushed to him and continued to whine and whimper. Some of them were licking him and nudging him with their noses. I walked over to a tree and shifted back into my human form, I then sat on the floor with my back against the tree, and then gazed up at the stars. The stars were beginning to fade as the morning sun slowly rose over the mountains. Any other time I would have enjoyed the beauty of it, but not today.“Alpha? We need to take you back, I know why you're running, and I understand that you're scared. But I also know your future, and in the future that I have seen, you are a Trybrid. You will be fine, I promise you. Please trust me,” Savanah said softly as she approached me.She knelt down in front of me, and I lowered my head to look at he

  • Freya Rose Book Four ~ Heartbroken By A Hunter   Chapter Eighteen - Will this ever end?

Freya RoseI could hear people screaming all around me, and arms were grabbing at me trying to pull me away. Everything sounded slow and muffled like I was underwater or something. I felt more and more arms clutching at me and trying to pull at me. I blinked a few times and then began to focus on my surroundings. I looked down and my eyes grew wide at the sight that beheld me. My hands were squeezed tight around Mason's neck. Time sped up instantly and the slow muffled screams became clear and extremely loud.“Freya, please let him go!” One voice screamed.“He can't breathe Freya, please!” Another shouted out.I released Mason's neck from my grip and relaxed my body, allowing the hands around me to pull me away from Mason. I was dragged down the landing on my ass and then held in place while I watched Finnley and Evan scramble to give Mason CPR. Finnley's counting filled the air,

Freya RoseI followed Mason up the stairs. He knew I was walking behind him, but he stayed silent, so I did the same. We got to the top of the stairs and walked past the first bedroom door. I could hear Evan and Selene giggling and having fun, and I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Not because I wanted Evan, but because that was how my night was supposed to go with Mason. But now there is no chance of that. I know I've hurt him, and the least I can do is explain and tell him the truth. I continued to follow behind him, he walked all the way down the landing and then entered the end room. He didn't bother to hold the door open for me, so I quickly grabbed it before it slammed in my face.As I followed him into the room he headed straight over to a set of chest of draws and pulled out some shorts. He dropped his towel and I couldn't help but stare at his perfect ass as I made my way over to the four-poster bed.
