Hudson lingered with his pack, feeling the weight of their loyalty. He exchanged serious goodbyes, their eyes filled with a mix of admiration and sadness. Finally, he turned toward his car, sinking into the plush leather seat. The world outside felt heavy, and unease settled in his stomach.
