Elsa's POV:

We get to the infirmary, and I watch the color of Damian's face vanish. He looks like he would faint any second.

I laugh, watching him gulp as the healer mixes the herbs into a cup and brings it to him to drink.

“I got vervain. It's much stronger, and you can tell by the smell what kind of magic it can do,” the healer says.

Damian takes one sniff and chokes. “Oh goodness. It smells like hell.”

“It sure tastes like hell, too,” the healer responds, and I chuckle.

Damian looks at me with pleading eyes but I pretend not to see him.

“Go on, son. Drink it all. It'll be all over before you know it,” the healer adds.

Damian looks at the cup in his hand and exhales before chunking it all down his throat.

He coughs and takes a step back as he finishes the drink. He wipes his lips with his hand and spits in disgust.

“Yeah, that was one hell,” Damian says.

“There, now you're all better. I'll have to say you're a lucky fellow. Others wouldn't have made it through the night. Y

Caspian POV:My face hurts, and I run my finger through it, touching the delicate skin. I groan as my finger accidentally touches the torn flesh. It is good that I am a werewolf, or I would have to live with the disfiguration forever. I dip the towel in the hot water and breathe out repeatedly before placing the hot content on my face. “Aaah!” I yelp in pain. The water wasn't mixed and had been fresh out of the boiler. Werewolves need pain to heal.I stand up, walk to the mirror, and laugh as my skin begins to heal. The dimly lit study didn't feel so dark anymore. My daughter and the candle's flame synchronized, casting a flickering shadow on the wall. “Is that the best you could?” I hear Hector's voice speak behind me. Instantly, I feel fear and turn to see him glaring at me. “Alpha Hector,” I say, going on my knees. “Please, forgive my ignorance. I didn't know you were here,” I pleaded.“I just got here. I stretch my hand giving him the paper and he takes it. “Deliver this letter to the one on the fortress watch. He'll be waiting for you. He knows what to do,” I order. The servant bows, then leaves. “Yes, sir.”I mean back into my chair, with an air of satisfaction. It wouldn't be long now before the mourning bell rings and it wouldn't be from my city. Everything is going according to plan. Just you wait, Elsa. I'll make you kneel before me. No one dares Caspian and gets away with it. No one.My eyes move to the flames in the corner of the room, I get up from my seat and walk to my bed and begin to take off my clothes, getting ready for the long night.****The servant's urgent voice cut through the silence as I sit in the dining hall eating my breakfast. “Sir, news from the castle.”I raise my head to see the servant, my expression neutral. “Speak.”"The witch fai

He has always been wary of my words because I could be quite foul with them.“I was about to get to that. I know how to unseal them,” I reveal, a sly smile spreading across my face. “Like I said, I have my ways and I act only after I make plans. You should sit in some physiology class for brains and not care for only wits,” I say, mocking him. That's for thinking I wasn't smart enough for this plan. “You're angry, I warned you about attacking, aren't you? Caspian, you never change,” Raider replies.I cough, trying to clear my throat. “I don't need to act that low to pass my point,” I say, defending myself. Raider bends his head low to be in the same level as mine. “It would seem so, but I know you too, dear friend. Your ego’s bruised,” he retorts calmly and I almost choke back my words. He straightens

Caspian's POV:We slowly move through the castle's corridors silently to avoid any more guards and servants. Suddenly, a tall built figure appears from the shadows. “Caspian,” Raider calls me in a low voice. “Look,” he says, and I nod in agreement.“Yes, I can see him,” I answer.Still, under the covering of the darkness, we lay still.“Come out, I can see you and smell you,” the voice says, and I walk out boldly. “For a werewolf, I am surprised you didn't try to disguise your scent, Caspian,” the man says.“You've been waiting,” I say. “Good, then I can kill you first.”I attack him quickly, but every one of my blows easily misses him. Soon, another group of werewolf soldiers appear, and they attack my men. I notice and realize that we have walked into a trap. My blood runs cold, and I take out my sword. Raider and his men follow the lead. My opponent and his men draw out their swords and position themselves like professional assassins. I charge forward, sword flashing in th

The sun shines brightly as I close my eyes and open them to adjust to the light as I see the execution ground. I can hear the murmurs of the crowd, reeling with hate for me. “He's going to the grave, today,” one of the people whispers.“Isn't he the evil Caspian?” Another says. “Finally, he got what's coming for him.”I see Elsa's men gather around, their faces set in ste

What about the witch?” Raider asks, shocking me.How did he know that? I made sure no one knew.“How did you…?” I ask, raising my head to face him. “I am surprised you'll keep that too from me. I just guessed, but it seems true. She did teach you, or should I say you did your trickery again and made her teach you, then you sent her to the slaughterhouse to be condemned, and you abandoned her if she's dead,” Raider says. “You know me well,” I answer. “Only the devil knows a devil,” Raider inserts. “So, what was your most brilliant plan that got us killed?” Raider asks, taking a cup of wine and drinks. Wines don't take days to become this delicious. It takes years and your werewolves have a strong appetite,” Fredericksburg says and pours himself another cup of wine. “You're right about that. It would cause chaos for your business,” I say and take more sips enjoying the flavor.“Now, let's get back to business,” Fredericksburg says, jolting me out from my brief enjoyment.“What's bothering you, Caspian?” He asksI admire the fact he was free to address me by my name and in a fatherly tone. Caspian's POV It's been days since I was locked up and Alpha Hector haven't made a move yet. I need to leave. Finding the ancient stone was my goal but not while I am confined in the dungeon. "Hey!" I called out to one of the guards. "Get the alpha over here. Why is he keeping me here?" I yelled out, letting my anger take control. They only stared at me but said nothing. I grunted and moved back. It was hard to escape as the guards were tripled.I heard the Luna of the crescent moon pack, Elsa, came to the pack and had escaped after been locked in. The guard new chief was been careful and tripled the guards. Elsa ruined everything. If only she didn't escape, the guards wouldn't be tripled and it would have been easier to fight off two or three guards and leave. "Damn it!" I yelled and faced them again. "I won't let this go. I will surely make you all pay for locking me up," I vowed and punched the wall. "Calm down, Caspian," Marcus said in my head. "How can I calm down? We are

Damien's POV I was devastated as well as Dennis and the rest of the Pack Members as we had our Luna slipped right under our noses in broad daylight. It's something I still feel terrible for, I am to blame for her Kidnap, I wished I had Perceived it right before it happened, we wouldn't have our asses busted up this way.How could I not have figured it out after I saw a spy saw us earlier while we were having our council meeting, it's such a shame it happened right under my nose without having the chance to protect Elsa before all this had happened. I probably wouldn't have dragged her inside to have a conversation with her, with Elsa believing I had kept a secret from her and I'm her best friend, why does she think I'm going to be hiding things from her when she knows that I love her and will do everything right to avoid not been hurt by anyone.I do not know what to think right now, it's probably going to be Hector that wants her life after we ruined his pack and got

Elsa's POV: In a second I was with Damien and the rest of the pack, If I could remember in a council meeting too and another minute I'm in the middle of nowhere tied up having zero idea of how I got there.I was crying bitterly inside of me as I wondered how the hell I got here in the first place and now I have to battle with my claustrophobia. My hands were tied with a very strong rope that have wolfsbane potion on it, and it's definitely killing me, as it draws my strength leaner every second that I breathe. My head’s spinning like some hurricane is blowing inside of it. I kept on struggling with the ropes used to tie my back as the wolfsbane was weakening my a, I battled so hard to deal with that as my strength drew leaner my breath grew thinner too. • Forgotten Luna   CHAPTER 81

Damien's POV I went after him but before I got out, he had gone. There was no sight of him. The secret opening led to an open field which was outside the pack. I looked around but no one was around."Damn it, I missed him," I muttered and rubbed my temple in frustration..If only I had come out faster, I would have seen where he went through and also know if he has an accomplice or not. I growled in frustration and went back in. Hy the time I got to the courtyard, they were done with the meeting and Elsa had left. "Where is the Luna?" I asked Dennis who was speaking to a member of the council. "Where did you disappear to? Your attention was needed at some point," he said, ignoring my question. I drew my brows and asked, "Why? Did something happened? Was there a different discussion?"He shook his head and faced me. "It's nothing to be worried about. The council just had a few questions because you were the one who went to rescue the Luna," he answered. "Where is she now?" I ask

Damien's POVI had no idea Elsa would find out soon enough. And just as I thought it would, it broke her down. I tried to explain but she was too hurt and angry to listen. After she left for her room, I faced Camile who bowed her, feeling bad for her. "What really happened our there?" I asked."We had no idea what was happening so when we got to the market, we saw a few people around which was unusual. We went closer to ask and this woman began to insult the luna blaming her for what happened and she called her incompetent," she explained which made me understand why Elsa reacted that way. I let out a deep breath and rubbed my neck in frustration. "Damn it," I cursed under my breath. "I need to speak to her."I made to move but Dennis held me back, "Get needs her space. You were the one who stopped Camille, remember? You can't speak to her now."I sighed in frustration and moved my hair back. She was all alone, wallowing in sorrow from what the woman said.I nodded and walked back

Elsa's POVI stood motionless, as her words got registered in my head. Camille hurried to me and stood behind me. "Let's go," she said and tried to take me out but I pulled my hand from hers and faced the old woman."What are you talking about? What is going on?" I asked and she scoffed. "You are pretending not to know. The news is all over and just have reached your ears huf you don't know what to do," she answered with irritation lacing her voice. "It's because of you Hector is trying to attach again."Camille arched her brows and faced her. "What do you mean? How dare you accuse the Luna?""Am I wrong? You should tell her the truth since you both are close," she answered and looked at me again. "Yu are not fit to be the leader.""That's enough! How dare you say such a thing like that? Have you forgotten everything the Luna has done for the growth and progress of this pack?" Camille asked, getting pissed off. "Of what use is it? Hector would attack us now and all those things wou

Elsa's POVThe day was going stressful more than I could imagine, but, a good thing happened, which was Melinda gaining her consciousness. I excused myself and went back to my room to get a special herb I had reserved. A herb that help relieve any pain, but getting back there, I heard Damien's voice but I couldn't figure out what he was saying. Knowing they were together made my heart skipped a beat. I know I shouldn't feel this way as I should be bothered about Melinda, but I couldn't help the feeling. I swallowed hard and went on to the room but almost bumped into Damien who came out at the same time. He was taken aback at first but suddenly held my hand and went to his room. At that moment, the feeling i had disappeared and was replaced with satisfaction of him being code to me. I thought about his suggestion to leave the pack for some days and go to a place where we could relax. I wanted to scream yes, as I imagined what it would be like, with just the both of us together in

Damien's povIt was a huge relieve for everyone seeing Melinda awake. She was able to defeat that man and got out. That meant, he had gone out of Caspian's body, but I had no idea if Caspian was alive. It would be a huge relieve for us if he dies. But, Melinda was acting arrogant and that got me pissed off. Everyone of us risked our lives for her, especially Elsa who went as far as going into the enemy's territory just to get the cure. Elsa was still trying her best to keep her calm while telling us she was just frightened, but she wasn't ready to calm down. Finally, she did but the doctor said she lost her voice which was sacrificed for using her dark magic. Everyone left the room, leaving me behind. It was an opportunity to ask about Marcus without anyone hearing us. I wanted to know more about him and handle him myself. I stepped closer and sat beside her. "What happened to the man you faced?" I asked, staring at her. "I am talking about Marcus. Nod your head if he died."Sh

Melinda's POV I gasped out, and began to pant heavily. I was sweating and my heart was thumping against my ribcage. My memory seemed blank and it felt as if I was floating on thin air. "Melinda?" I heard someone called me, but the voice seemed distant. "Melinda, can you hear me?" The voice called out to me again and shook me. I gasped out again and batted my lashes, getting my blurry view clear. I felt a hand in my cheek and I shivered in fright. "Melinda, wake up. We are safe now," the voice said again. I blinked and my gaze fell on Damien, who was seating beside me. Yes Damien, behind him was the Luna, Dennis was standing beside, and Camille.I remembered everything. I remembered their names and their faces. I was locked in the spiritual realm but I somehow survived. I faced the Marcus and I think I was able to use my dark magic a bit, although, the memory wasn't clear enough. Camille walked closer and helped me seat well. "Are you alright?" The Luna asked, staring at me wi
