Chapter 12

Everything around me was white; nothing was visible—a white light and white smoke.

Am I dead? Nicholas questions himself. He was unable to see anything in front of him, and then

“No, you are alive. You can't die so soon.” He hears a very sweet and beautiful voice. He turns and looks at the owner of this voice; it is none other than the one due to whom he lost his sanity. Nicholas runs towards Sarah and touches her cheeks.

“Are you okay? What are you doing here? Where are we both?”

Sarah said, “This is all a figment of your Mind; you should wake up now.” Saying this, as soon as he tries to touch her again, she disappears into thin air.

Nicholas experiences a shock, and the next thing he knows, he is in a hospital room, surrounded by doctors and nurses, and he can hear his own pulse. His eyes are shutting, and then opening. He couldn't see properly; he couldn't feel anything; his entire body was numb; he felt no pain or other sensations. He gazed at the doctor, who was attempting to re
