Panic kicked in as I struggled to break free. No matter how much I attempted to shout, my voice was muffled. The person holding me won't budge at all.

I kicked in. I thrashed. I shouted, but no words would come out.

My body went cold. It was the man whom Everette had fought with. Vincent was right. Sooner or later, he would come to get me.

I should have listened to Vincent when he said I should be careful. Everette’s enemies would resurface. Did I listen? I did not.
