Lucas and Rosetta come to their senses when it is quiet. The classical music that had been heard has stopped. Leaving behind the buzzing of crickets that swarms the other night's insects.

 The kissing session ended softly, but left a little awkward. It’s not the first time Lucas and Rosetta did it. Still, the strange taste exists.

 “Ahem, how about we go back inside?“ offered Lucas, his cheek blush.

 Rosetta, who still fixed the breathing rate, nodded and then squeezed Lucas’s arm. Her cheeks felt so hot. By hand, Rosetta fixed up her dark red strands.

 When the door came between the back porch and the hall, all eyes were immediately drawn toward the couple. The young girls smiled shyly behind their hand fans, while the young men laughed quietly.

 “My Lord,” greeted some of the nobles that Lucas passed by, they bowing and bending knees.

 Lucas answered with a nod and then turned his eyes to the Rosetta that was able to breathe properly.

 “Thank you for the gift. You can enjoy the party again,“ says Lucas with a thin smile.

 Rosetta nodded. She lifts two ends of her skirts slightly as she curls her legs. “It is my honor, My Lord.”

 Then the two men separated and rejoined the ranks. Of course, they don’t have to go any further, because the royal crowd is circling them.

 “Oh, my goodness, Lady Rosetta. I was so curious as to why you were so compatible,“ praise Lady Charlotte. A Rosetta’s friend who has curly light brown hair.

 “Are you guys dancing outside? People started a fight when they didn’t see you dance here,“ adds Lady Bethany. Another friend of Rosetta.

Rosetta blushed again, but she kept her image and calmed down. Just a friendly smile would notice her friends babbling about her relationship with Lucas.

 “I’m sorry, I asked you again. When will you be married? Is it predetermined?“ asked Lady Elizabeth, intrigued. This was followed by a nod of the other girls.

 “Ah, about that.“ Rosetta rolled her eyes and saw Lucas’s height from a distance. “Still undecided.”

 A sad voice was heard. Rosetta continues to smile, noting how much the people argue over whatever happens to her and Lucas.

 “Is Lord Marquess still too fond of you, Lady Rosetta?“ asked one of the girls, ”Maybe you are forbidden to marry forever. People all over Aelton know how much Lord Marquess loves his daughters.”

 Rosetta knew that too, but postponing the marriage between herself and Lucas was not because of the father’s inordinate affection.

 “Is that true? Even Lord Marquess still has two lovely girls. Oh, by the way, are your sisters going to the debutante party next month, Lady?“ Lady Charlotte asked Rosetta.

 Rosetta nodded and then remembered her two younger sisters at home. They were eighteen-year-old Camille, and sixteen-year-old Lily.

 After that reply, the girls were busy mentioning boutique and designer dresses for the upcoming debutante party. Rosetta was so overwhelmed by this, that all she could do was shut up and put on a smile as wide as she could.

 “Uh, did you hear?“ said Lady Bethany. The girl with the green eyes always had some gossip.

The girls came closer and closer, and even inadvertently squashed one another to hear what news this Count’s daughter had brought.

 “What’s that?“ said one of the girls, dying with curiosity.

 Lady Bethany spread the fan and covered her mouth, quietly, “It says that King Nicholas about to find the crown princess!”

 All the girls gasped in shock, shrieked caught up in surprise, and then turned into joyful cries.

 “Oh, my god, what kind of girl is he looking for?”

 “I think I must break my engagement with Lord Bilton.”

 “You’re crazy, huh?”

 “Yes, I am!”

 The conversation there quickly changed the subject of the crown prince. Silently Rosetta listens. Though quite active in the social activities of the high class, often attended important events, Rosetta had never seen the appearance of the crown prince himself.

 As chatter about the crown prince’s handsome intensified, Rosetta slowly pulled away from the circle and sneaked back to the other side. She took a glass of champagne and gulped it as she walked.

 “The castle hall has hardly changed,” the Rosetta inner as she gazed at the great circle.

 Whoever looked up must have seen a large chandelier with candles lit and capable of lighting up the whole room. Not only that, hanging there, there are dozens of genuine gems of high value in the Riverdale that reflect the candlelight.

 Rosetta continues walking. Passed a long table of sweets and fresh drinks. Yet, she ignored all of that. Her eyes glanced to the whereabouts of her fiancee.

“Lady Rosetta,” call someone from behind. Husky’s voice was so soft and tingling, so recognizable.

 Then Rosetta turned around and saw Lucas standing right in front of her. That perfectly well-built black tuxedo looks gorgeous. Now, even Rosetta couldn’t help noticing the sturdy muscles she had felt while dancing in Lucas's hands.

 “Ah, there you are, My Lord.“ Rosetta greeted with red cheeks because of the memory.

 “Did you enjoy the party?“ asked Lucas.

 “Of course, My Lord,” Rosetta answered.

 Although Rosetta together as a fiancee, she still has to keep her manners before the future Duke of Riverdale. Rosetta doesn’t like it, but Rosetta keeps calling Lucas formally.

 “I can’t believe it!“ A shout hung up on one of the brethren who stood not far from Rosetta.

 “Hush, it is important that we be neutral!“ Another said.

 Rosetta sees a band of nobles that seems to be made up of several Count throughout the Kingdom Aelton. Unfortunately, Rosetta doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

 “Lady Rosetta?“ call Lucas. Hurry Rosetta turn and put on a smile. A little gawky getting caught eavesdropping on other people’s conversations.

 “Is there anything to worry about?“ Lucas asked again.

“No, of course not. Everything was fine. By the way, I haven’t met the Duke and Duchess. Why don’t you take me to them?“ ask Rosetta. Chase out the vague question in the head.

 Refusing to ask any further questions, Lucas nodded and took his fiancee’s hand. But after half a meter had passed, it suddenly fell silent after hearing a large door open.

 Lucas and Rosetta both turn to see who’s coming.
