Thomas held Jessica in his arms and took a few steps back, as if he wanted to create a safe distance between her and Blake. He looked down at her and wiped her lips with his shirt sleeves.

The fabric fiber was repeatedly rubbing against her red and swollen lips, and there was a slight stinging pain, but Jessica did not stop him.

Thomas coldly said, "You don't have to explain it to me. I know you're not that kind of person."

Blake looked at the scene in front of him and his breath became heavy.

This move was just to provoke Thomas even more.

Thomas looked up at the man who was walking out of the carriage.

He lowered his hand and whispered to Jessica, "Stand still."
