I gazed at him.

He inhaled as he spoke. “And drop this topic for now. And one more thing, there is an event tonight.  Want to attend the party as my wife, Mrs. Alex Walter.”

“ No need,” I said. He moved his head away from the crook of the neck. I turned around and tightened his tie.

He looked at me.

“ Then don’t get jealous,” he said as he pinched my nose.

“ Why? Why do I have to get jealous?”

His cell phone began to ring. I looked at him.  Suddenly I realized the time.  I pushed him.

“ Okay bye, baby. I have to leave,” I said as I pecked on his cheek. He took his cellphone and hang up the call and grabbed my hand and pulled me closer.

“ I have work,” I said as I freed my hand from his grip. I took my handbag and left the room.
