By the time Xavier returned, he was thoroughly drenched. But he managed to gather some thick branches and some wild fruits while he was at it.

"Here, eat them" he offered the fruits to Serra while he busied himself with staking the branches against the cave entrance, effectively blocking the wind and the coldness the wind carried. It was not completely dark yet, but their cave turned darker once the entrance was completely sealed.

The sun is nowhere to be seen, and they don't know what time it is. As long as the storm is raging outside, they cannot go anywhere else.

"These are for you" she offered a major portion of fruits to him while she was munching on her portion.

His eyes flashed with a strange glit when he looked at his portion size and hers. They both were starving from this morning. He had his breakfast at least, but she didn't even have her breakfast before she was dragged into the water by Claire. She must be more hungry, but still she saved the majority of the portion
