Aron pov

His warm blood runs into our mouth and I can feel the darkness inside us getting a bit satisfied. When the rogue takes his last breath a warmth is spread through our body. That's all we can feel these days, any other feeling we once could feel is long gone, and the darkness has taken over the last piece of us.

"Aron! Aron! Wait! You don't have to kill him, let's interrogate him first." My beta shouts through mind link while my wolf drops his hold on the rogue's neck and the lifeless body falls to the ground with a thud.

He didn't have any chance once he trespassed onto my pack grounds. None of them do, we always find them, even if we have to hunt them down for days after. My wolf enjoys the hunt, and the further away they try to run the better the chase.

"Too late!" I just mind link back while a shiver of pleasure courses through my body, another rogue is eliminated by us.

"Why do you always have to rip them apart without giving them a chance to explain, Aron? Can't you for once hold back from killing them?" He barks through mind link when my wolf snaps his head to look at him and gives away a warning growl.

Dane knows not to go against my wolf and his prey, last time someone tried, he accidentally killed the guard. I can't blame my wolf for what happened, we were engulfed by the darkness that runs in our veins, and there was no stopping us. They all know not to go in between.

"And we have to go back if you are going to make it there in time," my beta Dane says through mind link frustrated. I know he is right, we have been chasing this rogue for too long already.

"Alright!" I snarl back through mind link and take a last look at the dead body on the ground, he didn't put up much of a fight. I can feel my wolf's disappointment over it.

Turning around, we start to head back to the pack house. I need a shower before we get on the road and head over there. My wolf gets his chance to run his frustration off a bit when he sprints back without the rest being able to catch up with his speed, and we have to wait outside the pack house for the others.

"Are the guards informed?" I ask my gamma once we step inside the pack house, and he walks up beside me.

"I'll take care of it right away, the car will be ready in a couple of minutes," he says, taking off down the hallway to the right without me answering him. He knows how I want it without me telling him.

"I will be ready in a bit," Dane says, and heads over to his room on the second floor while I keep walking to my quarters on the highest floor and head right over to my chambers. I want to get this done fast and be back here in a couple of hours for my night round.

Reaching the door to my chambers, I'm quick inside and walk over to the shower, have to get all this blood off me before I get dressed.

"Aron, what are you going to do if it doesn't work this time either? You are running out of time, and why don't you take a mate instead of waiting to find your destined one?" Dane says when we are done and have taken a seat in the car.

My Gama starts the car, and we pull out on the road while I look at my guards by the tree line going on their regular scout around the pack grounds.

"Keep trying! And you know I won't take anyone else than my mate," I state, and see us passing by the borders.

"You are twenty four already and haven't found your mate, are you even sure you have one?" Dane says sarcastically to me.

All these years since I got my wolf, I have waited for her. The first years I was hopeful to find her, but lately I'm convinced I don't have a mate. I know I have probably enraged the moon goddess to the point where she won't give me one. I don't care if I turned the moon goddess against me, where was she when we needed her?

"I probably don't have one," I snap back at him. He is one of those who knows me best and my past, he is also the one closest to me, and he knows when it's best to keep quiet and not push it too far with me before it gets out of hand.

"Everyone has a mate, it doesn't matter what you have done or not" Dane says when I feel his eyes on me. That's his belief, and I'm not agreeing with him here. I know the darkness that runs through my veins and what we have done. There is no redemption for parts of it, and I have come to terms with my path.

"That's your opinion!" I state when I see the building come into view. Placing my phone in my pocket, I see the entrance when the car turns off the road and heads for the side entrance. I prefer any side door before the main entrance, where there are always a lot of people.

"I have the folder here if you have changed your mind and want to see her before," Dane says, holding the folder in his hand.

Sitting back in my seat, I take the folder from him and hold it for a bit. I usually don't look at anyone I have tried with before. It doesn't matter how they look or what personality they have as long as they are eighteen or older.

That's the only demand I have. They have to be of the right age and come from the line of an Alpha. My pup needs to be strong, and I will never agree to anything else.

"I don't care," I say, and place the folder down on the seat between us. How the woman looks or any other information about her isn't necessary for me to know, I only have to fix my part in there.

"If this doesn't work, they have signed in for another try once the woman is ready again," Dane says while the car comes to a stop outside the entrance.

"Let's hope another try won't be needed," I say, opening the door. Walking out, Dane gets out on the other side while two other guards get out of the car behind and walk over to the entrance.

"You know what to do." I mind link Dane before he starts to head over to the entrance, and one of the guards holds the door open for us.

"Yes, let's get this done." He mind links back.

Walking inside, the guards are right behind us when Bryan, my gamma comes walking up beside us right when we take the corner in a hallway and reach a bigger hall.

"I will be outside and waiting in the car, just grabbing me a coffee," he says, and that's always the same with him and his coffee.

"Be back in the car in fifteen minutes." I give him the order and continue walking when we turn into the next hallway and head right over to the room. I'm just planning to get this done quick and go back right after.

"I will," he says when I see him take off down the hallway before I stop outside the door and hear a woman scream loudly from behind us while I place my hand on the handle.

"We will be waiting close by," Dane says when I open the door and get inside the room before closing the door. I toss my jacket on the chair close to the door before I start to unbutton the belt in my pants to get ready.

Alora pov Nothing can change the fact that Kaylee is in danger from everyone. If they find out who she is, all packs and old families will come for her and especially Mark. It's well known he wants to stay at the council for as long as he can, but with Kaylee turned eighteen she is able to take his place whenever she wants. It's one of the laws at the council once they have a new heir turning eighteen they are allowed to take the place, and that's why many council members wait until they are in their late thirties to start their family. By doing so they can stay longer as a council member, and it's been going on this way for ages. Mark has to be almost fifty by now, and he can stay for about ten more years then he is considered too old and needs to hand his place over to someone else. I know everyone is waiting for this and hoping to be able to join the Council. "These weren't the news I've hoped for," I honestly say when Dane places his hand over mine in my lap. "I know, but

  • Forced To Carry The Alpha's Child   chapter 105

Alora pov Walking back through the entrance doors, I quickly make it up to the room where Levin and my mate are waiting. I find them still in the room talking about the council when I come walking inside. "Everything alright?" Levin asks me when I take a seat in the chair, looking at him and his folder. "Yes, but we need to make this quick," I say when he leans forward. "Alright, let's get into this." He starts to say and opens his folder while Dane places his arm around my shoulders. "I looked into her and found something, this is way too serious to have a conversation on the phone," he continues and places a paper from his folder in front of me on the table. Leaning forward, I start to go over it. Some of the information I already know from what I've found out, but I didn't have access to the right information and couldn't look into it further. "This information you already guessed, but she is from the bloodline of one of the Council families," he says when I look fur

  • Forced To Carry The Alpha's Child   chapter 104

Heidi pov Liz parks the car beside the road just a small bit outside of Aron's pack grounds. Looking at the woods ahead of us, I turn and see Liz starting to undress beside me. "What are you doing?" I ask her while looking at her with a raised eyebrow. She stops with her hands at her pants looking dead in my eye. "I'm getting ready to whoop some asses, I might pull their balls as well if I get the opportunity. Always love the sound they make when I do it," she says and laughs while I shake my head at her. It's always the same when it comes to her, a more unserious fighter is hard to find. During all these years I have taught her to fight she has tried to sneak away or other times she does whatever she wants. She is a good fighter, no questions about it. But the way she comes up with different ways to make the opponent that often is a male to suffer weird shit instead of seriously fighting to kill or knock out is uncountable. If she had used all the time to instead focus on the

  • Forced To Carry The Alpha's Child   chapter 103

Heidi pov Looking out the window when Carl parks the car behind work, I wait for him to turn off the engine before I open the door and get out. He gets out as well and walks over to stand beside me by the car. "You're about to do something stupid, aren't you?" He asks me and I'm not surprised he figured it out since I was silent the whole way over here. I'm not a person to talk very much but I'm not completely silent. "I have to," I say and turn to look at the door when a customer walks out, and by the look of it she just got her hair done by Frederic. "Wherever you're going I'm coming with you," he says, and I feel all warm inside from his words. I know he is one I always can count on, but this is not his fight, and I need him to stay here and guard all the girls. Not once has he ever failed me, and if there is one I can trust then it's him. "You can't, I need you here," I say when the door is opened again and Frederic is popping his head out, waving happily at us and Carl l

  • Forced To Carry The Alpha's Child   chapter 102

Alora pov The drive over to the address Levin gave me took about one hour, and it's located a bit outside of the city where the Council is. None of us have been here, and the little inn took some time to find. "What are we going to do?" I ask Dane while we make our way over to the address I got. Both of us have tried to call Darian and Aliza again, but there is still no answer. "We can just hope Bryan manages to get ahold of any one of them while we quicken this meeting," he says, turning on the road, and we have arrived at the address. Once Dane parks the car in front of the building, we both head out quickly. We arrived just a small moment after Levin and he has already taken his place inside a meeting room he booked. He knows the owners and I guess, has used this meeting place before. "Glad you could come this fast," he says when he meets us in the lobby. "Yes, let's get this done quickly, we have to get back as soon as possible," I say when he shows us into the meeting ro

  • Forced To Carry The Alpha's Child   chapter 101

Kaylee pov I'm staring at the closed door, debating with myself if I should do this. I've been locked inside this room for the whole day, and I'm going crazy if I have to stay in here another second. Her words have been playing inside my head this whole day. I don't understand what she means that I'm stronger than I think and who is my father? Alora told me to be careful and she can't talk about what has happened with Aron, but if I want to talk to him it's easier to do it at night. Well, it isn't night yet, it's evening, and I can't stay in here any longer. I need some answers, and I will try to get them. Pushing the handle down, I open the door and listen for his fotsteeps, but I don't hear a single sound when I walk out into the hallway. Leaving the door a bit open when I take a few steps away from the door... My heart is beating harder in my chest, I don't know how angry he will be once he finds me walking around in his pack house. One thing is sure, he will be angry once
