I open my eyes to the morning sun reflecting on my face, after freeing myself last night I got so tired that I couldn't close the curtains. My throats feels sore and so does my hands, there are bruises on my hands and feet from the struggle.

I make my way to the shower and step out of it as fast as I could, the water reminded me of my bruises and they burned like hell.

Eager for something to eat, I stepped out of the room to find him standing, hands in his pocket, gazing up at me.

I open my mouth to greet him but paused, since when did we exchange pleasantries.

“I see you freed yourself” he utter, a smug look on his face.

His eyes dart to my legs and he frowns,

He moves closer to me and picks me up before I could get to the last part of the stairs, dropping me on the sofa, he turns away.

I arch my back ready to go to the kitchen when he sharply turns to me,

“Stay”
