In the hushed embrace of the night, memories came haunting. Sleep, the only coping mechanism that I had used till now was far away from me eyes tonight. All his atrocities flashed before my eyes.

The echo of cruel laughter of that monster and his men and the wound inflicted on my father’s body, did not let me close my eyes. After my recent encounter with him, I am sure about one thing. His revenge-driven mind would not let me go without breaking me beyond repair.

There are times when his logical mind kicked in and he let me go unharmed. But there were also times when he stripped me of my dignity without any remorse and I am scared of that part of his mind.

He won’t let me go unharmed every time. If there is one thing I am sure about then that is his primal need to avenge his wife’s death. And he would do it at any cost. So I have to be prepared. I can’t always escape merely by back answering him.
