I watched as Bridget left with the cab, and I went back upstairs to sleep. I left Aria with Richard and asked him to please take care of Aria till I came back downstairs.
I was tired and needed the rest. I went upstairs and slept off for a while. I woke up and went to prepare lunch.
I looked around for Aria and Richard and found them playing in Aria’s room. I opened the door, winked at Richard, and closed the door closely.
I went back to check the food and prepped the sauce. I waited till the rice was ready and made the sauce. I heard the sound of the bell and went to open the door.
I opened the door, and Bridget walked in.
“How was the meeting?” I asked
“It went well, and he seemed shocked to meet me instead of you, but the meeting went well,” Bridget said
