“ I think I love you for no apparent reason. ” Sara whispered to Silas who was still feeling dumbfounded.
He wondered if he had started hearing things. He was in the phase of shock which passed quickly and he entered the phase of denial in a mere moment.
Sara blinked her eyes rapidly, the realization dawning upon her. She said that out aloud, right? She flinched internally and her cheeks started to heat up.
“ What? ” Silas sat up, his eyes fixed at her red face.
“ I mean… I mean I think I love you but I don’t know what loving someone feels like so I am not sure if I love you or not. I am not sure if it is really love or not. ” Sara didn’t know what she was talking about anymore. Her heartbeat was drumming in her ears, sweat beginning to coat her nape.
