He wondered and stepped forth leaving the distance of an inch between them. His warmth seeped through her back and her hair stood up on their ends. Her heart which was beating fast before threatened to explode out of her chest now. His eyes slowly travelled lower to take in her straight neck before moving lower to her collar bone and then her plump breasts. He took in a sharp breath and dragged his tongue across his lips. The urge to leave marks all over her clear skin was too strong for him. “ You - You need to... I mean you need to... ” He didn't know what he was saying anymore as he tried his best to look somewhere else. “ I need to cover up. ” Sara gasped out but she didn't move from her spot. Her eyes were caught up in his lips which were being bitten harshly by his teeth right now. Her whole body was on fire. She could feel the heated anticipation gnawing at her guts. The sexual tension grew in the air as both of them held their places unable to move away or do anything. “ You need to cove
AUTHOR'S POV What had she done? That was the first question which popped in Sara's mind the moment she woke up from her deep slumber. She was clinging to him like a koala and he was holding her for dear life. This was truly an embarassing sight for her. Last night, she didn't drink but she sure acted like a drunk woman. She was all over him last night. Groaning silently, she had pulled herself free from his arms and rushed to the bathroom to take the shower before deciding to disappear somewhere. Surely, there would be alot of places where he couldn't find her. She planned on disappearing to a place like that. Clothing herself in a simple white dress, she did what she had decided to do. She ran away. She forgot for some time that she was scared of water and Grandfather Magnus might find out about her little trip alone. She just didn't want to face him. ' You w
AUTHOR'S POV Sara stared at the phone in her hand blankly. She couldn't believe it... That Arrogant bitch hanged up on him. “ He can go to hell. ” Sara hissed and threw the phone back in her bag. Everyone in her life was shitty. It was like they all were competing against each other to see who could win this contest of the BIGGEST ASSHOLE. Sulking, Sara laid down on the sand without a care in the world. When you were doomed, what could mere sand do to you anyway? Closing her eyes, she rolled around like a child taking advantage of everyone's absence in this part of the beach. Sighing heavily, she thought about Silas. He would have found out by now that she ran away. This was so unlike her. What was she doing? This question haunted her once again. Pushing herself in a sitting position, Sara glanced at her bag thoughtfully. It was not like she di
AUTHOR'S POV Silas stared at her without blinking his eyes as Sara stared back with much intensity. She looked dumbfounded but angry at the same time. Slowly, she raised her hand and Silas's eyes followed her movement wondering what she was going to do. Was she going to slap him again? Thinking of him as Silas this time? He gulped but her hand politely landed on his forehead as a frown of concentration made it's way up her forehead. She sighed out as she pulled her hand back. “ The fever is gone I think. ” She mumbled to herself as her eyes closed again. What just happened? Silas was wondering about it. Did she just wake up to see if he had fever and she fell asleep again? He frowned and leaned in toward her to see if she was really sleeping. “ If you kiss me again, I will poison your food for sure. ” She warned with her eye
AUTHOR'S POV Sara watched Silas's face for a moment before she decided to tell him everything. “ My Mom was not like them. She was just like you. A peasant as Lexingtons called her. With the smallest mistakes, she had to suffer. She did a small mistake once. She accidentally spilled juice on one of the Grandfather's great powerful business partner's wife's clothes. ” Sara spoke each word slowly as Silas's guilt grew. He raised his head and looked at her again. “ GrandMother likes to punish people. Get on your knees and stay outside for the whole night, Bow down for hundred times, starve for three days, sit under the sun in hot summer for hours. ” Sara was in a trance, her mind travelling back to the corridors of the past. Memories were painful and having to live them over and over again was undeniably cruel. Silas held his breath back, listening to her. He knew there was something hi
AUTHOR'S POV Silas didn't say anything after listening to her. He kept his mouth shut. Any word uttered to console her would mean, he was pitying her...Atleast, that's what Sara would think. So, he kept his silence. She asked him to eat and he did. She gave him the medicines and he took them silently. Sara's soul had began rotting due to the hatred, vengeance and anger she kept hidden behind this Cold woman facade. The whole day passed and eventually, she disappeared again. That's her way to deal with things. She keeps running away from feelings and reality. The moment she got to know he was feeling better now, she picked up her bag and walked away. Silas stepped out on the ramp and stared at the sea for a while wondering what he should do. It was him who hurt her. He didn't mean to do it but he couldn't help letting all his frustration out on her. Sighing, he pushed his

Her heart was always pulling her toward him. “ Ofcourse. Who doesn't love money. ” Silas held his laugh back, seeing Sara's expressions changing drastically. “ But I love you too. Maybe not as much as my money but I still love you. ” Silas teased and leaned in to peck her nose while Sara still stared at him in shock. Sara's face was heating up. What...was he saying? AUTHOR'S POV “ Why did Grandfather call me back? ” Sara mumbled for the nth time causing Silas to groan out. They both were sitting on the couch side by side after eating their dinner and Sara had been repeating the same thing over and over again. This was getting on Silas's nerves now. “ Why don't you call him and ask? ” He mocked clearly annoyed by her dazed behaviour. “ Really? ” Sara turned to look at him in wonder. Silas blinked his eyes in disbelief. She was too shocked, he thought and shook his head. Sighing out, he pushed himself up from the couch and marched toward the bed to grab a pillow. It was already late and they needed to go back in the early morning because Grandfather Magnus had demanded so. Silas knew why Grandfather Magnus was calling them back. He knew Sara had a hunch too. Her Mr. Devil had acted up to bring her back.
