Synopsis
A war . . " War does not determine who is right - only who is left. " A rivalry . . . " Tension, in the long run, is a more dangerous force than any feud known to man. " A lesson learned . . . " Everything does not happen according to a plan, and you learn your lessons the hard way. " That maybe sometimes, just sometimes, things are better left alone than changed. ------ The werewolves and vampire ( all of whom are, naturally, ridiculously sexy ) have been at war for centuries. The only end to this war is death. Unfortunately, the vampire crown prince, AKA the teenage dirtbag of his clan, and the alpha werewolf's daughter, the not so sweet-heart of her pack, have been meeting in secret to fight and show off along with the other teenagers in their groups. In the process, their mutual hatred/little rivalry turn into something more. But it is forbidden, unheard of, taboo, and very much unnatural for that to happen, well according to their parents.

He smacks the whip down on my back
1...
2...
3... excrutiating times.
I take a big gulp of fresh air trying to get out of my memories.
" Sit down and take it bitch! " he says unbuckling his pants.
Why can't I get out? I can't breathe.
He forces himself inside my throat. I couldn't breathe.
I grab my throat desperately trying to breathe. Tears running down my face.
He grabs my head and pulses it down on him.
Why me? Why did I choose this man as my mate?
" I'm okay. This isn't happening, " I remind myself
My breathing slows to a normal pace and I can see the crescent moon above me
It captures me completely. The white glow grasps my attention.
Before I knew it hours had passed.
I had to get back on the road if I wanted to get and stay away for Mikael. He had done enough to my brain and even more to my body. I'd never be the same because of him and if I saw him again I would kill him.
I walk through the dark woods making sure to make as little noise as possible. Eventually, I get to a road.
A car races down the road and I could smell the fuel a mile a way. He was swerving like a drunk.
Then, before I even knew it, it all went black.
