THE TRUTH

Monica walked into Adia's room carrying a cup of water placed on a tray, as she made way for Adia's bed.

Thankfully Logan successfully brought the antidote for her, and it was administered to her successfully. She's been asleep since the previous day, Monica was more than grateful for Logan's help, thankfully Adia will be free from pain.

"Adia" she called happily, removing the shutters, allowing light into the room

"Adia" she called again, placing the tray carefully at the bedside.

"Hmm" Adia scrambled on the bed, using her hand to block the light that was entering her eyes as she yawned loudly.

That's when she realized something, she was not feeling pain anymore, she quickly placed her hands on her tummy, and felt relieved that her baby bump was still intact, her unborn babies are safe, now she can finally smile.

She sat up from the bed, as she swept her gaze to Monica, who stood by the bedside, her face beaming with smiles.

"Good morning Adia.." Monica greeted her smile not falling
