Chapter Twenty-Five

Alexander's heart started beating rapidly with excitement. Seeing Serenity looking ravishing in a pale lavender gown with a sheer neckline and applique bodice, his determination to steer clear of her crumbled to dust. He stood hypnotized by her all throughout the wedding ceremony and Liam had to nudge him every now and then to remind him of his best man duties. 

He couldn't take his eyes off her, feeling himself get pulled towards her. She was his magnet and he was like a helpless piece of iron. He had sworn to himself before arriving here that he would just attend the wedding and leave but seeing Serenity again, all his resolutions crumbled to dust. He now had only one wish, to pull her into his arms and kiss her senseless, remind her that she was his, only his. 

At last, the wedding ceremony was over and the newlyweds and all the guests went to pose
