Get Lost in the Lycan World

"What do I see now?" Alexa was really scared. She reversed her body, until she bumped into a small child who was eating raw meat. Seeing this, Alexa screamed.

"Hey, what are you doing? Don't shout here!" scolded an old man who was currently behind Alexa.

"What is this place exactly?" asked Alexa in a trembling voice.

“Of course we are in the territory of the Kingdom of Italy,” replied the old man.

“Since when did the Italian state have a kingdom system? Hasn't it turned into a republic long ago?" asked Alexa to herself.

"Where is he going?" Alexa resumed her steps. The sight she saw now was far from normal. Many people pass by so fast, it's not like ordinary people who walk slowly like that.

She then looked in all directions. On a tall pole beside a mall, there is a flag fluttering. However, it is not the national flag of Italy. She looked to her side, the old man she had been chatting with earlier was gone. 

“What kingdom is this exactly?” Alexa is getting curious. She looked back at the flags she had seen fluttering on every pole that was along the way. She remembered that the presidential palace was near where she was now. “I have to go to the Quirinal Palace. All the answers are there."

Now Alexa was in front of a place called the Quirinal Palace. Where it is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Italy. She gaped in disbelief at what she was seeing now. The flag she had seen along the way was now also there and flying high on a building that looked like a palace. However, the palace model looked quite different from the Quirinal Palace she knew. Even there it was clearly written the name of the palace, King Wolves. There is also a very large statue of twin white wolves at the entrance.

"No. Impossible. I think I'm just dreaming," said Alexa immediately pinched her cheek. She immediately groaned in pain from her own pinches.

Suddenly, many people who Alexa believed to be royal bodyguards came running out. However, strangely their footsteps were all as fast as she had seen along the way earlier. Alexa hid herself behind a building not far from the front of the palace. She secretly peeked.

A tall, athletic, white-skinned, and blond-haired man was walking dashingly towards a parked black car. Alexa who saw him from a distance, was immediately mesmerized by the man's handsomeness that radiated so much. Everyone around bowed respectfully to the man. "Could he be the king?" guessed Alexa silently.

"Please come in, my King." A young man invited the king to get into the car.

Alano Dante. The man who occupied the position of king in the Palace of King Wolves. Kingdom of Italy where all the inhabitants are lycans. Instead of getting into the car, King Alano just kept quiet and closed his eyes. His sense of smell is so sensitive. There was a very strange scent smelling all around it. His eyes immediately opened and looked outside the palace, where he was sure the smell was coming from.

Alexa sharpened her eyes even more. 

“Did he see me? Oh, no. The distance is quite far from here," said Alexa, who was currently staring at Alano. 

Alexa backed away feeling uncomfortable. However, in that second, she did not see the existence of the man earlier. She immediately looked around. Her nape suddenly felt very hot. She also looked back and was so shocked when she saw the man she saw in the palace courtyard earlier was suddenly in front of her.

Before Alexa could speak, she immediately fainted and fell to the ground. The royal bodyguard came closer.

“Take her away from here!” commanded King Alano Denta.

"Sure, King. Should we just kill this woman?” asked the king's confidant.

"No. Just take her away from here. It's up to you where to take it. As long as this woman doesn't die." King Alano immediately went back to the palace grounds and got into the car. Several royal guards immediately took Alexa's body away from the palace area.

In a park in the middle of the city, Alexa's body is placed in an empty chair. "I think we'll just put the woman here," said one of the male lycans.

“Is it safe here? Are you sure she won't be eaten by another lycan?” They already felt that the fainted woman didn't have the same power as a normal lycan. However, they had no idea what creature that woman was.

"Take it easy! Don't you smell King Alano's scent on this woman's body? I guarantee that no one dares to touch this woman.” The royal bodyguards immediately disappeared, leaving Alexa still sleeping on the chair.

In the afternoon, there was a lycan couple who approached Alexa's place. The two of them were trying to wake up a woman they didn't know. "Who's she? Why did she get here?" A woman again patted Alexa's cheek.

Slowly, Alexa opened her eyes. "Where am I?" The first question that came out of her mouth. She glanced at the man and woman standing in front of her. "Who are you?"

The two adult lycans looked at each other, then back at the woman in front of them. 

“Introducing, I am Berta and this is my husband Carlo. Where is your house? Let us take you home,” said a woman named Berta.

Alexa went back to remembering what happened earlier. The memory of what happened to her family tragically came back to haunt her and also the memory of her trying to escape to a place called the Kingdom of Italy. 

"I want to ask. Is it true that this is the Kingdom of Italy and the name of the palace is King Wolves?”

"Yes, right. Here is the Kingdom of Italy, where the lycans are the most prosperous in the world,” Carlo answered.

"What?!" shouted Alexa in shock when she heard the word lycans.

"Why are you shocked? Aren't you a lycan too? Or perhaps you are another creature?” she asked.

       

Alexa replays her mind's memories again, where she notices the people around her looking strange. Starting from people who walk fast, there are also those who fly, and suddenly disappear. Likewise with food that comes from fresh blood and raw meat. “Actually, what world am I in?” Alexa started to freak out.

"Hey, what are you doing? Come with us!” Berta felt sorry for the young woman in front of her.

Alexa wants to run right away. However, come to think of it, where was she running off to? This place is filled with lycans. Moreover, she didn't know whether she could return to her world or not. 

"You're not going to eat me, are you?"
