Sean felt bad for what he did. He ran after Amy, but he was too late, as he couldn’t find her anywhere outside the nightclub. He took out his phone from his back pocket and quickly dialed Amy’s number to apologize for his actions. Her phone kept ringing and ringing, but she wasn’t answering.

“Shit!” Sean cursed, rushing towards his car. He didn’t want to give up hope, so he continued calling Amy, praying she’d eventually pick up.

He had messed up. He had messed up big time. Now he has lost whatever chances he had of making Amy his.

While driving, Sean’s side eye caught a glimpse of something that looks like Amy’s purse on the passengers seat. He turned to look at the seat properly and indeed Amy’s purse was there. That means her phone was here all along. To confirm his suspicion, he parked his car at the side of the road and opened the purse.

Where could she have gone to without her phone? He wondered, starting the car again and heading to her dad’s place.
