THE LYCAN CITY. LUKKAR CASTLE.
ALPHA LUKKAR
I had not received word from my tracker. My Luna was still out there, not in my arms and pain it caused me was becoming unbearable. I got into the shower, the cold water that rushed down washed the blood that was around the my thigh. I had done so much training with Amin I hadn’t given my thigh any time to totally recover form the injury.
My kingdom was being ruled by the regent Beta wolves and their way of conduct was rather cruel. The peasant got poorer while the nobles only got richer. It was a horrible scheme that ensures they always had their fair pay of bribes and embezzlement of the kingdoms funds.
If I was the king Alpha I would put an end to such an unjust way of life. That was something my father fought to do, he had united both kingdoms, using the resources from both to ensure that neither would suffer or starve. My father was a powerful Alpha, but death wasn’t something that waited for any man and my mothers death was the catalyst that weakened him and took him to the grave.
I still blamed myself, blamed myself for my mothers death just as my brother had done to me. But deep in my soul I knew he was right and and I buried my face in my palms to prevent myself from breaking as the cold shower washed me over.
My mother died at my birth, she was the one love my father had and I took that away from him. First he lost interest in rule, then he fell sick. He stopped his voyage to conquer other lands and then death came.
My senior brother had turned half the board of Betas against me. He divided the kingdoms once again and since then, a hate feud between The Emeral kingdom and the Lycan City had started. Our kingdoms did not share any resources, the only trade we did was strictly on business within each other and nothing informal. I hadn’t seen my brother in years and I was sure he did not care even it I did.
Emeral was the last member of my pack alive, I yearned for the love of a family even if he hated me I still had hopes that one day he would be able to put his hate aside and we would reunite our kingdoms but I needed to be crowned first for that to happen.
When I come out the first person I see is Ariel. She froze, her eyes quickly going down to my cock and I see her face turn visibly red.
She snapped back, “I’m so sorry my lord! I knocked severally but no answer.” Her eyes wide and still looking at my cock.
How could I have heard her knock when the only thing on my mind was the terrified face of my Luna.
“What is it?” I asked.
“Sir Amin requests your presence in the training ground…” She said, trailing off slowly and I got irritated as her eyes were fixed to my cock.
I wave off Ariel and she scurried out with a wide smile on her face.
Naughty child. She was the daughter of a peasant Pack, the Jahns. I remember her specially because she her fought off the guards in an attempt to plea for work in the castle. To work under the Alpha. Naturally I took pity on the fifteen year old after she wept out her story and agreed to pay her for the common job.
I grabbed my towel from the hanger, roughly wiping it over my body to remove any water drops that were on my skin.
When the door opened again I half expected Ariel to walk in but instead I’m greeted by Amin.
“I’m sorry my lord, I had no idea that the child dared to step into your quarters without permission!”
“Ah, there’s no problem. Children often make mistakes.” I reasoned.
I wore a pair of silky trousers. The print of my dick was very visible from the outside and I was sure Ariel would trip over her steps if she saw it.
I walked out and Amin closed the door behind me. This was our routine, we would train each day. Amin made it mandatory, his reason being that I would never know when I’d be in a situation where I had to solely defend myself against a threat. I knew he was talking about my brother. The Alpha Emeral of the Emeral Kingdom was as threat that I was very wary of.
Our kingdoms lived in the peace secured by a signature, something either of us could scrap away at any time and wage war in the other. I had made sure to keep our military strong. Only the strongest wolves from the pack could be trained under my military, that ensured our safety lest a war was to start.
The maids that bustled through the corridors, bowed lowly and greeted me before hustling off to do their duties.
“Amin..?”
“My lord?”
“Do you think—”
“That your tracker is making progress? Why certainly!”
“How did you—” But I stopped, knowing that it is Amin he could probably read my mind already. Being the closest person I had in my life it was like he knew everything and anything I was thinking about even down to my deepest worries.
“Well I’m expecting a report back from him today…” my heart rose with the thought of the beautiful Luna in my arms. She would bare me children and with our marriage I wound finally be crowned king Alpha of the Lycan Kingdom.
“You can’t rush a tracker… your father told me that..!”
I looked at him over my shoulder, the old held a true resemblance to my father.
The events from the nights before come back to me as we enter a darker passage. The beautiful maiden I had saved was yet to be in my bed. My heart rose, beating faster as I remembered her face highlighted by the moonlight.
Once we got to the back of my castle, Amin took his usual position a few yards in front of me.
I closed my eyes, allowing the innate power of my wolf stir in me, the power spread like a corruption until it had overcame all of me being and the aggressive blood lust of a wolf took over before my bones broke, shaped and affix themselves.
Long golden hair grew out from my skin until it thickened to a fur coat. I looked at Amin through my wolf eyes. He stood looking rather bored and I lunged at him, growling ferociously as the fur in my back stood in aggression.
He waited until I was just about a meter from biting his head off before he shifted in a split second, exploding out of his clothes and the strong black furred paw of Amins wolf slammed me against the face.
Glorious gold vs Brilliant black our wolves were so different yet so the same.
THE LYCAN CITY. PEASANT MARKET.VALERIEMy heart pounded harder than a drum as I run I felt like it would break out of my ribs. The harsh sounds of ferocious wolves boomed as I dash through the markets. I barely felt the pain in my injured foot and when I take the next step I don’t allow my legs to stay on the ground for long before taking the next.Mrs Jahns call had been the perfect distraction for me to get myself out of such a situation. The Hunters had finally found me, I was a weak little girl who couldn’t even shift trying to evade a pack of angry Hunters on foot and not to mention that I had to duck and dodge every now and then to avoid taking the next shops window to my face, while my pursuers literally just broke through anything and everything in their path.In front I saw merchants and sellers dash out of my way as I approach, some on lookers watched from closed stalls and it occurred to me how cold this city actually was. All these people seeing me dash for my life throug
CHAPTER TWELVE - MOONTHE LYCAN CITY. LUKKAR CASTLE.ALPHA LUKKARThe maids applied healing ointment to my skin were specifically careful. Amins wolf assaulted mine with his teeth I had felt like it was a blood lusted fight no longer a training session. He had won yet again, just like all the other times and I was beginning to lose hope of event winning the old man in any case. Our training sessions lasted for about an hour before either of us could get worn out. Amin brilliant black wolf looked twice as scary as it was and he fought like he was aiming for the kill.‘All to get you stronger!’ He would say after he had won.He was the only one who could assault the Alpha and live anyone else would be left in a bloody like if they did as much as disobey my orders. I had to rule with an iron fist and exert my aura on anyone who was below me. I hadn’t yet been officially crowned but still I was respected and treated and like the Alpha I was.I had received a letter from my tracker, accord
THE LYCAN CITYVALERIEThe pain in my face was becoming unbearable as the stranger with me twisted my broken nose without remorse. I had heard something break with a crunch at the time I fell but the pain was damped by the intense rush of adrenaline. He dabbed a foul smelling ointment onto the bridge of my nose before wrapping a tight bandage around my face. The ointment instantly seized the hot pain and soon I was left with you a half numb face.He looked out the small window every time, probably checking if we were being followed by Hunters. He said little and acted with little regard.I looked around the room, empty apart from the cabinet he placed the candle and the ceiling was designed with cobwebs so much that it looked like this place had been abandoned for over a year. Not a minute would pass without a spider dropping on my arm and I would swat away the disgusting bug immediately. The moon was beginning to set above. If he wanted us to make our move at the cover of dark then h
THE LYCAN CITYALPHA LUKKARThe tracker stalked behind me, a deep slash along the base his wolfs neck. I trudged on, carrying the weight of someone precious in my arms. The lot of Hunters had ran with their tails between their legs as my aura reduced them. The vermin that had stood his ground was half dead and without an eye when I was done with him. Though I won, the wolf had gotten hold of my leg and I was lucky he hadn’t torn away one of my limbs.I walked with difficulty, I had immediately killed the first Hunter that I caught hold of and he whimpered pathetically before my jaws snapped his neck. The girl I saved slumbered in my arms.I saw her , limp and face down and could not hold myself from killing the very first Hunter I got hold of.I limped through the forest, my castle was not far from where we were.I gazed on her pale face, the soft and sharp curves or cheeks and nose. She was beautiful. An epitome. The dress she wore was almost a rag now. Rips and tears that left her
THE LYCAN CITY. LUKKAR CASTLEVALERIEI had done something unforgivable. Not only did I lied about my name to hide my own identity, I had also lied about my betrothal and on top of that I was going to be married to the Alpha Emerals brother. I didn’t like nor did I love him, but if this guaranteed my safety it was a risk I would rather take. One of the laws of the kingdom was nobody could marry someone other than the person they were or had been betrothed to unless their betrothal mate dies. As much as I hated it, I was still owned by the Alpha Emeral. The Wolf still had a claim on me and yet I was going to marry his brother under the next full moon.I rubbed the back of my hand against my eyes. I sat in my bed, remembering the show I had put with the lungful Alpha Lukkar. I could see the lust in his eyes when he spoke. Men, it was easy to tell when they wanted to have sex with you and he did nothing to hide that intention. He had wrinkled his nose before leaving, telling me to take
THE EMERAL KINGDOM. HOUSE MO'MONTEDERONI had stashed the birth certificate under my bed. Right before the door opened. My mother stood at the door, a spatula in her hand with a little Myla minion beside her.“Where have you been?” She asked, looking pissed as Myla scoffed beside her.“Gawd..!” I exclaimed. The smack from the spatula still hurt my head. I slowly ate the pleasantly spiced meat and a small mug of rice, drinking from my glass of sweet milk. Myla ate like a pig and I resisted the urge to smack her on the head just like my mother had done to me.“Mother..?” She adjusted the glasses on her nose before looking at me through the crescent shaped lens. “Why don’t you trust the Mo'monte house?” I could see that my question came like a shock. She paused, a spoon of rice balancing in front of her face before she placed it back into the bowl. She cleared her throat. I was sure she was thinking of the next best lie.“I never said I didn’t trust them… I said that they have secrets…
CONTINUATION.DERONJacks words was like a wave of bees that buzzed around my head and prevented me from from concentrating on anything else apart from their presence.I shook my head, looking at him with all manner of serious as I clamped down on my head with my hands.“No… no…. no…” I muttered. The thought of hope only for it to be crushed by the actual truth was already hurting enough.I suddenly felt like the air in the room got thicker and was too dense for me to breathe it in.“You can’t do that Jack she’s gone!” I told him, hoping that he was just talking out of grief. If Valerie was really out there then it means I had failed her twice, not only was I not there for her when she needed someone the most but I had also left her all alone in a world were she would be in a constant run from Hunters.“I overheard my father talking with the Emeral last night!”“What did they say?” I asked, curiosity burning in me.“Valerie wasn’t killed. She’s alive! She must have escaped to the Lyca
THE LYCAN CITY. LUKKAR CASTLEVALERIEI stood paralysed in his warmth. The Alphas aura was so irresistible it made me imagine things I would have never thought I was capable of doing.I thought I had loved Deron but this was nothing like I had ever felt. Just being this close to him, in his warmth and held tightly to his chest I already felt safe, like this was something I had been missing for the most part of my life! Was this the feeling of having a mate? No forced betrothal, just pure love. His played a dirty game with his hands, caressing the skin on my sided so slowly instinctively clenched my thighs together to keep the exciting thoughts I had in my mind from becoming a reality. As annoying as it pleasurable, I fought a mental battle against myself to restrict my own actions.Painfully, I moved away from him. Turning around but avoiding his mesmerising gaze. I was sure I wouldn’t have the strength to fight against his golden orbs. The Alpha has in every way attractive, from his
