Chapter 5 The fight is against Shade Marcus the Narrsissist Vampire King.

Sam stands tall, his chiseled physique a testament to his unwavering dedication to fitness. His bulging biceps and broad shoulders exude raw power, honed from years of military battles. His shoulder-length black hair often falls messily onto his broad shoulders, and his piercing grey/blue eyes seem to bore into those he meets. His tattoos, a striking blend of Mayan tribal and Anunnaki designs, whisper tales of his rebellious past and his defiance against the darkness. As an elder vampire and a skilled fighter, Sam's tech expertise and ancient knowledge make him a formidable force in the world. His raw, masculine appeal is tempered by a hint of vulnerability, a glimpse of the scars he's accumulated over the centuries.

After he and Lyra witnessed the boat blow up, they franticly searched with vampire speed but couldn't find them anywhere.

Back in the limo he pulled out his Laptop and entered his military code. Then started tracking Kie and Raven's cell phones and the towers they were bouncing off of. He had been tracking their phone's GPS for hours. Something was interfering with the signal, he suspected witchcraft. Then he smiled, as he had located them, just as the signals died.

Suddenly the door burst open, and Sam storms in. "Not on my watch, Shade!" Sam growled, his eyes blazing with fury as he displays fangs. Lyra rushes in behind him. Standing side by side, ready for battle.

Shade, a sleazy figure appears to fade at times, with eerie black eyes and greying hair, sneered at them from the shadows.

"Fools," he spat. "You think you can defeat me? with him and all that Verbena, I've pumped into his system. I am the most powerful vampire this world has ever seen!" he boasts.

Kie snarled, his fangs bared. "We'll see about that, Shade. You've messed with the wrong vampires this time."

Sam, after hearing that his Boss had been injected with leathal doses of Verbena, didn't hesitate for a moment and charged at Shade shifting into his full Vampire form, tackling him to the ground. His razor-sharp claws ripped through Shade's skin, cutting deep gashes into his chest. Shade roared fiercely, throwing Sam off him, then lunged at Kie. "You'll never leave this place alive!" he snarled as Lyra joined in on the fight. attacking him several times, her speed was impressive.

The three vampires snarled and snapped while wrestling with Shade. The fight was intense, with all four exchanging blows and showcasing their incredible strength and speed. Shade was a formidable opponent, and Kie despite his weakened body from the injections fought hard,

Kie suddenly appeared behind him, with his claws buried deep into Shade's skull as he attempted to rip his head from his body, pulling from his Mayan powers his strength surprised Shade. As he vanished into thin air, reappearing at the far end of the room.

"What the fuck?" Sam said as he watched him. He'd never seen a Vampire jump in space and time like he just did.

Lyra was busy fighting the witch who owned the yacht, ripping her head off and throwing it across the room.

(Kie, who had honed his fighting skills for centuries. He was the rightful heir to the throne, His little sister falling in line behind him. Their father King Nicolaus, the most powerful Vampire alive, trained them together as they grew up, Prince Kieran was considered the second most powerful, and Sam fell in line as third, Lyra was fourth.)

In the meantime, Lyra jumps on Shade's shoulders grabbing his head in her clawed hands, her fangs fully extended about to bite clean through his skull, when he vanishes again from underneath her, She scans the room looking for me. She had just been given mindlinked instructions from Kie, *Save Raven!* but what she sees shocks her..

I'm, standing gathering my strength and powers in a whirlwind of my own magic swirling around me. I lift my hand high, summoning my wand, and it appears instantly in my hand. My wand vibrates and hums with energy as I unleash a barrage of spells, each blast striking Shade with incredible force. His skin sizzled and melted like wax in a furnace. The air is filled with the acrid stench of his burning flesh and the sound of Shade's agonized screams.

Kie and Sam dodge my blasts as they strike at him clawing deep fatal wounds into what's left of his flesh.

As the battle rages on, I grow weaker, but Shade, realizing he is outmatched, attempts to retreat, Kie Strikes with a final blow before he vanishes in a dark swirling cloud of pure evil, and his screams echo through the air, a chilling reminder of the horrors he has unleashed, as he is consumed by the very darkness he had struggled to control.

Finding our way through the yacht, we reached the deck and leaped onto the dock, I was safely between all three of them, and the yacht sank from all the holes I had blasted into its hull.

Kie pulled me into his arms and turned to Sam with a nod of gratitude. "Thanks, Sam and Lyra, We owe you one."

Sam smiled, the blood-soaked wound on his arm, twitching. "Anytime, boss. Now let's get her to safety and plan our next move."

Kie, Lyra, Sam, and I knew we had faced the mastermind behind the stalker, the kidnapping, as well as the lives lost onboard the riverboat: Shade Marcus.

Kie makes a call to his Father, after telling him what Shade has done, He swears to end his life when he is located and that his entire Vampire army is searching for him as they speak.

"Son, are you all, OK? how is Raven?" Niklaus asked

"We're fine. He didn't know of my Mother did he?" Kie laughs.

"He does now." Niklaus laughs with a deep voice.

"How's Raven holding up?" He asked. "She's exhausted. She fought hard and Dad... I don't think Shade is what he claims to be. From what we saw Tonight, he's a pure demon, mid-level I'm guessing" Kie informs him.

"Well, that would explain a lot, I suspected as much the night he killed your mother and now his obsession with Raven, this is not good son," he tells Kie.

"He seems to be gaining power after each fight, any other species would have been dead with the wounds we gave him." Sam joins the conversation which is now on speakerphone. Niklaus warns Kie, as he reminds him of Shade's last words before taking his Queen's life, he said.. "If I can't have her NO ONE WILL!"

"Raven needs protection, Son.". "I will come for a visit soon, I can't wait to meet her. Give Raven and Lyra my love." he hangs up the phone.
