Chapter 5 100 Percent
Taianna had arrived early to have breakfast with us. She loved my cinnamon pancakes. I drank my coffee watching her. "So daddy says we are family now, like a real family."
I shook my head 'yes' still sipping and smiling at her I knew where this was going.. "So, is it ok to call you Mom now?" she asked. I was on the brink of tears. I went to her and held her tight, "Yes sweetheart you may call me Mom!" "I knew this would happen, the first time I saw you, my bracelet showed me, the night of the Hurricane, when I was trapped in your shield. I tried to tell Daddy but he wouldn't listen," she giggled. "He listens now!" The look on her face made me smile. "Yes, I remember" he made us submerge our Island thinking he was coming for war!" we both giggled.I heard Lucas come in for his coffee and our first Chamber procedures of the day, Taianna wanted to watch she wanted to try it also.
As Lucas finished his coffee, he stepped onto the platform. Neptune activated the device, and a gentle hum filled the air. Lucas closed his eyes, slipping into a peaceful sleep mode. The device announced in a mechanical tone, "Scanning initiated... DNA analysis: 97% pure. Vampire and Marine genetic markers merged. Pure Royal Atlantian DNA confirmed. Scan complete."I wondered out loud "So are Atlantians a Vampier/Siren hybrid species?"
Neptune responded, "It seems likely but from another galaxy not our own. If we are able to get a sample from one of them, after the doors are open then we will know for sure." "Neptune, I need you to connect to our bracelets if that is possible." "Initiating connection" her interfaced hums. "Connection complete!"The device's hum shifted to a soft buzz, which lasted for precisely ten minutes. "Lucas's healing protocol is complete," it stated, before commencing the enhancement process. "Enhancement protocol initiated." The combined hum and buzz continued for another fifteen minutes, with the device periodically reporting, "Enhancement level: 95%... 98%... 99%..." Throughout the process, Taianna watched with keen interest.
Niklaus and Abatrose walk in laughing, when they see Lucas waking up, they walk to my side "How's he doing?" Niklaus asked with a soft kiss on my lips. "Enhance complete, abilities are at 100%, beginning final Scan.. for Atlantian DNA ... 98%." the Chamber powered down and Lucas was slowly lowered back to stand on the pad as his eyes fluttered open. "How do you feel?" Taianna asked. Lucas stepped out of the device, a smile spreading across his face. "I feel incredible!" he stretched and yawned, his eyes shining with renewed vitality. "Each session leaves me feeling stronger, faster, and more agile. My senses are heightened, and my mind is clearer than ever." He glanced at his Atlantian bracelet, which glowed softly on his wrist, we all had one now, even my babies. It was a communication device that allowed us to speak to each other's minds much like the mindlink but it worked no matter where we were or how far apart we were. and it allowed us to send images as well. It was made of an unknown living material that molded itself to your skin and grew with you, but once it was placed, it could never be removed. It also gave some wearers the ability to see future events. As well as a personal cloaking device just in case."Your vampiric and marine abilities have merged with your Atlantian DNA, resulting in a unique 98% blend," Abatrose announced, a smile spreading across his face. "This fusion will grant us all unprecedented powers."
As Niklaus stepped aside, I took his place, ready to be enhanced. The process began, and I felt myself drift off to sleep as I floated weightlessly.
"So, They have the strengths of all three... speed, agility, and durability from the Vampire; combat prowess and strategic thinking from the Marine; and the wisdom, magical abilities, and advanced technology of the Atlantians," Taianna asked. It would be her first turn in the chamber, after her Father, Abatrose was done. "Yes," he said with his eyes set on me. Taianna's smile grew wider. Taianna's eyes sparkled with excitement as she considered the implications. "Imagine it, an elite team with the combined strength of Vampires, Marines, and Atlantians. We'll be unstoppable!" Abatrose nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, but with great power comes great responsibility. We must use our abilities wisely and for the greater good." Lucas and Niklaus stood tall, their eyes shining with determination. "Queen Raven's and Lucas's abilities have surpassed even the greatest warriors of our kind." Abatrose said, "And ours will too with their help."Neptune began "...
They were all discussing when we could go on our morning dive and what could happen when we finally opened the doors. "I think we should bring a breathing mask who knows what the air is like in there...." Niklaus cautioned. Then they all froze when they heard Neptune's final analysis...
"Enhance procedure complete, abilities are at 100%, beginning final Scan.. for Atlantian DNA ... 100%. " When I woke I realized everyone was staring at me. "What?" I was almost scared to ask. "Y-You did it! You're at 100 %!" Niklaus said. There were smiles on all of their faces. "We can open the door now!" Abatrose beamed with excitement. As I stood there, still trying to process what was happening, the room erupted in cheers and congratulations. Taianna rushed over to me, throwing her arms around me in a tight hug. "You did it, Mom!!"
Abatrose's voice was filled with excitement. "Let us proceed with caution, but also with hope. We have no idea what wonders or dangers lie beyond that door."Two hours later we were all done and prepared to dive,
Niklaus handed each one of us a breathing mask that also covered our gills. "Just in case, We don't know what kind of air we'll find in there." I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions: excitement, fear, and anticipation. I nodded, "We will only use them inside the city once we open the door. We are just going to see what's in there we will not activate anything today, It's just an exploration dive, understood?" everyone agreed. "Don't touch anything!!!!" "Also bring a locator device I want it locked onto Atlantis so we can find her if this triggers a warp on her part," I said with added caution. "Good thinking!" Brent said as he and Sam went to get a few of them. Kie and Lucas were ready, we all were. Everyone agreed to follow my plan. They all bowed to me one by one as they dove into the ocean from the end of our pier. I was the last to dive, Niklaus by my side, as we followed Abatrose and our best warriors, over a hundred in total.Together we approached the door, I looked nervously at Niklaus, Lucas, and Abatrose as I placed my hand on the sensor lock it began its scan, my heart was racing, as the door creaky and groaned and began to open inside the city's shield, we quickly put on our mask.
Chapter 6 Powered Up with a New Queen in Place As the doors slid open, a rush of stale air hit us. We were all masked up, but even just cracking the door seemed to bring the entire ship online. "Neptune, are you seeing this?" I asked."Affirmative," Neptune responded. "I'm running an air analysis now... and it's coming back safe. You may remove your masks." We hesitated for a moment, then pulled them off, our eyes widening as we peered inside. The sight took our breath away. Abatrose attempted to step forward, but I held him back. "Not yet, love," I cautioned. "Neptune, scan for life signs.""There are two thousand life forms on board, out of those only twenty-five are still alive," we all stare at each other in shock. "Neptune, locate the living Life forms, please," I said with a shaky voice. "They are all in hibernation chambers in the medical wing of the ship," she informed me. "Can you access the ship's computers?" I asked hopeful. "'I can not access the computers without au
Chapter 7 The Move to Safety"Thor show me what I need to do to pilot the ship," Niklaus and I observed, following him as he moved around. "My queen, place your hand here", he pointed to the Throne seat, and next to it was a scanner pad, curved to match my hand, Like a throttle stick. "What's this for?" I asked "Warp drive, my queen" I quickly removed my hand in a panic, my heart skipped a beat. Niklaus found it amusing and chuckled. "Thor, why do you call me your Queen?"I asked as I sat on the throne seat. Thor's expression turned serious, "Your DNA holds the markers of the ancient ones, the rulers of the planet Xanthea. You are the last living female heir of the royal family onboard." "And who are the others in the chambers?" "They are the ship's crew and staff and one grandchild of the late Queen, Prince David." "But isn't David the next in line for the crown?" "No My Queen, he is male." he looked at me with a puzzled look and continued, "Only females can rule over their
Chapter 8 The Awakening "Neptune recommended upgrading Atlantis's computer system before reviving Prince David and the others, giving us full control over the ship's systems. With the upgrades complete, Neptune ensures a smoother and more controlled awakening process for the crew." I have mixed emotions, sad for the ones in stasis, but excited to meet them as the sun sets with the computer system upgrade complete. Neptune, having successfully infiltrated Atlantis's computer system, activated the revival sequence. The ship's medical bay came back online, as the cryosleep pods began to thaw, gradually reviving the living occupants. "This will take hours," Thor remarked, after expressing gratitude to Neptune for the upgrades."You're most welcome, Thor." Neptune smiled. "Welcome to the 23rd century!" I exclaimed. We left him to oversee the Atlantians while we swam back to shore, famished, we gathered around the dinner table. The staff hastened to serve us, as we engaged in a lively di
Chapter 9 Goodnight The realization hit me like a ton of bricks! Despite his youthful appearance, I knew he must be thousands of years old, older than all of us. As an Atlantian, he was an Immortal, just like we were. He whispered in my ear, "You're my mate!" I nodded, my mind racing. I reached out to him through our private mindlink, *We need to talk, I have two other mates.* He responded, *I know, my Queen. This is our way. I am third in the hierarchy.* He sent a shiver down my spine as he kissed my neck. *You will retain your title as Prince David. We'll talk later* I replied, my mind still reeling from this new development. The world he once knew was gone, and all he had left was me and Atlantis! I felt my heart reaching out to him in a gentle caress. I touched my bracelet to see what our future held, it showed me all of us together smiling as one big happy family, this put my mind at ease.Niklaus smiled as he approached, his eyes shining with knowing. "Hello, Prince David,"
Chapter 10 Siren Song As we gathered around the breakfast table, a familiar scene unfolded. Abatrose entered with his companions, his eyes locking onto mine. He approached me with a gentle smile, his lips brushing against mine in a tender morning kiss. I cherished these intimate moments, and my heart skipped a beat as he whispered in my ear, 'I'm okay with it, but he can't mate with you before I do.' His words sent a flutter through me, as he took his seat to my right, leaving me blushing. I caught Niklaus's knowing grin, and I sensed that the two of them had shared a conversation about this the night before. Their subtle exchange was telling, I already had a deep understanding of their unspoken dynamics. "Just as I was about to begin my morning address, Prince David made a surprise entrance, his smile radiating warmth. He strode over to me, his lips grazing mine in a gentle kiss that left the room abuzz. Niklaus and Abatrose, however, seemed unfazed, suggesting they had prior knowle
Chapter 11 My Time with AbatroseDavid's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as he struggled against Abatrose's unyielding grasp. "You're not even tempted?" he spat, his voice laced with disbelief. "She's a queen, a goddess! How can you resist her charms?"Abatrose's expression remained impassive, his voice low and steady. "My duty is to serve, not to succumb to desire. Besides, David, you know as well as I that King Niklaus will not be pleased if we interrupt their...mating"David snarled, his face twisting in anguish. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Watching me squirm, seeing me burn with desire for her!"Abatrose's gaze remained unyielding, his eyes glinting like ice in the sunlight. "I am merely doing my duty, David. Nothing more, nothing less." The two men stood locked in a silent struggle, their eyes fixed on each other. David's voice was low and husky, his words dripping with frustration. "What's stopping you, Abatrose? Why do you deny yourself?" Abatrose's response was calm
Chapter 12 Ocean Mating Dance With the delicious meal savored and the twins fed, Aunt Aurora was now gently rocking Abigail and Oliver to sleep with a soothing bedtime story. Abatrose and I decided to take a leisurely stroll along the moonlit beach, the sound of the waves caressing the shore. As we walked hand in hand, Abatrose's eyes gleamed with desire and affection. "I have dreamed of this moment for so long," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "Our first time together, finally here. I have imagined every detail, every touch, every kiss." His words sent shivers down my spine, and I knew that this night would be treasured forever."Tell me," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of the waves.Abatrose's gaze intensified, his eyes burning with passion. "I dreamed of taking my time, of savoring every moment," he whispered back, his lips inches from mine. "I dreamed of feeling your skin beneath my fingers, of tasting the sweetness of your lips. I dreamed of mak

My heart raced with excitement as I eagerly awaited his return. As soon as he landed, I flew into his embrace, wrapping my arms around him tightly. He laughed, his eyes shining with joy, and held me close, his lips claiming mine in a passionate kiss."I have missed you, my Queen," he whispered, his voice filled with love and adoration, as he effortlessly swept me up into his arms and carried me into our palace. Our security team looked up from their seats in the meeting room, their faces stern but their eyes hinting at smiles.
