CHAPTER 2
SOPHIE
AT BIANCHI’S ESTATE.
I still can't believe I followed Vincenzo Bianchi to his estate after he sorted out my bills. The moment I stepped into the boutique and looked up to see his face, I immediately recognized him.
The mafia don, Vincenzo? He was the devil himself.
But something was off. He kept calling me "Alessia." I couldn’t wrap my head around why he was using that name. It seemed he must have mistaken me for someone else.
For the past two hours, I had been brought here, my heart racing nonstop, my hands trembling, and my lips quivering.
Vincenzo Bianchi. Who doesn’t know that name in this city? I do. That name has sent many to their graves without a hint of remorse. Damn it, Sophie, I sighed silently. How the hell did I end up in this place? My husband, Leo, might be a devil, but he’s an angel compared to Vincenzo, the man whose estate I now found myself in.
I slowly approached the window and gently slid back the curtains. I barely knew where I was. As I gazed outside, a deep sense of awe washed over me at the opulence surrounding me. This was the infamous Vincenzo estate, where men were rumored to go and never return.
The estate was a sprawling mansion, with manicured lawns and gardens that seemed to stretch on forever.
I sighed and let the curtains fall back into place. This wasn’t my problem right now. I needed to leave and see my mother in the hospital. That was all I cared about. I hadn’t been able to visit her since Leo wouldn’t let me. Now that I was free, I had to see her.
Turning my attention to the room where I had been kept for the past few hours, I sank into one of the plush couches. Despite the luxury surrounding me, an unsettling feeling lingered. I had no idea what Vincenzo's intentions were. Why had he brought me here? And why did he call me "Alessia"?
I pulled out my phone and attempted to dial my brother's number, even though I knew he might have blacklisted me after countless calls during my mother's illness. But as I tried to connect, I realized there was no signal. It seemed all communication had been cut off inside this estate.
Moments later, the door creaked open, and a woman who appeared to be in her late forties walked in. I rushed toward her, desperation in my eyes.
"I need to leave now. Take me out," I pleaded.
She didn't seem fazed. Instead, her lips curled into a smile.
"Hello, miss. I understand you want to leave, but you can't right now. You have a deal with Vincenzo, and you haven't fulfilled your side of the bargain," she said.
I gasped. What? These people must be insane. A bargain with Vincenzo? How could that be? I had barely spoken to him.
I glared at the woman. "What do you mean?"
I stepped closer, my voice rising. "Listen, ma'am, I need to leave this place immediately. It's a matter of life and death!"
"I'm sorry, but you can't leave right now," she replied calmly.
"Why not?" I shot back, my anger boiling. Am I being kidnapped?
"Master paid for your bills and has claimed you as his for tonight," she said.
I stumbled back, caught off guard by this turn of events. I never asked Vincenzo to pay my bills. Not that I had the money, but expecting me to repay him with my body was absurd.
"I will pay him back!" I protested. "I will pay him back for the dress he bought at the boutique. I just need to make some calls and get out of here, please."
"I'm sorry, but the network is cut off inside this place. You can't make any calls," she replied.
Desperate, I grabbed her arm and crouched low, pleading. "Please, you need to let me go. I need to be somewhere important or at least make some calls."
"The hospital?" I paused, my brows raised in curiosity. "How did you know that?”
She smiled. “Master is covering the hospital bills. Trust me, your mother has been moved to a good facility as we speak.”
I swallowed hard, struggling to believe what I was hearing. Why was he doing all this for me? He had paid my bills and now was taking care of my mother’s medical expenses. What did he want in return?
An unsettling tension filled the room as I stood there, uncertain about my next move. I couldn't figure out what Vincenzo wanted from me.
The woman extended her hands, offering me some clothes. “Master wants you to submit to him tonight. You need to put on this dress and wear a blindfold before he comes to take you.”
“And after that, can I go see my mother?” I asked, my curiosity piqued.
She nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. “Once you satisfy the Master, you’re free to leave after you’re paid.”
With that, the woman left, and I sighed, sinking onto the plush bed. I cradled my head in my hands, grappling with the deal I had unknowingly entered. I should have known that meeting Vincenzo was a bad omen. He was the devil himself.
Clenching my fists, I gritted my teeth and breathed rapidly. All that mattered now was my family. I would do anything to keep them safe. Besides, the deal didn’t seem that bad, right? Just one night in exchange for my mother’s well-being?
Hours later, I stepped into the bathroom and quickly changed into the negligee that had been provided. The beautiful silk red nightgown was sheer enough to reveal my figure, trimmed with delicate lace and fine straps.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady my trembling hands. I reminded myself that it was just one night, that this would all be over soon. My mother would be fine, I would be compensated, and then Vincenzo would let me go.
I slowly tied the blindfold over my eyes and sat there, waiting for him to come. Just like the devil, I soon heard the door creak open, and my breath caught in my throat. I gulped sharply, my heart racing and hands trembling as I felt his fingers graze my skin.
"Let's go to my world, Alessia," he whispered, his sultry voice sending shivers down my spine as he gently lifted me into his arms.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, my heart pounding in my chest while anxiety washed over me. Why was I suddenly feeling warm from his touch?
"Come on, Sophie, snap out of it!" I reminded myself. "He is the devil. I'm only here for the benefits he has to offer, and that’s it."
Moments later, he carefully set me down on my feet. His hands rested on my waist, his breath hot against my neck.
"Welcome to my world," he said, as he untied the blindfold. I flicked my eyes open, and my gaze wandered around the room. I gasped silently at the array of equipment: whips, cuffs, candles, oils, and even a picture of a woman.
I turned to him, my voice shaky. "What is this place?”
CHAPTER 3 .SOPHIE “My world,” was the only response he gave me.“What?” I asked, confusion evident in my voice. He stared at me, licking his lips seductively. “Do you like what you see?”I wanted to tell him that I hated every bit of what I was seeing in this room. What were all these cuffs, whips, and other strange objects I had never encountered before? Expressing my feelings seemed pointless at this moment. He loosened his shorts, letting them drop to the floor and revealing his naked body. I quickly turned away, shielding my eyes from the sight.“Why?” I heard him say. “It’s all yours tonight. You can touch, eat, lick, or gawk on it if you want.”His voice was husky and convincing.“You're in my personal space,” he said, stepping closer. This jerk was stark naked, and I couldn't help but steal a glance.“Go away,” I said, covering my breasts with one arm, as if that would stop him. The hunger and lust in his eyes stirred something inside me—something I couldn't quite explain.“D
CHAPTER 4VINCENZO.My eyes widened in disbelief as her hands flew to my cheek.I blinked rapidly, trying to process what had just happened. No woman had ever dared to stand up to me, let alone get courage to slap me like that.I turned to my favorite plaything. "You can leave now."She quickly picked up her panties and hurried out."I see you enjoy mixing love with violence," I said, attempting to downplay her actions. The only reason she was still able to breathe in front of me was that I don’t hit women."Misogynist monster!" she sneered. "How could you make me watch that lewd display?""You wanted the money, so you'll have to learn how to play the game," I replied. Her nostrils flared as she snapped back, "I quit then. I'm no longer interested. I'm leaving!"I swiftly moved my hand to the wall, intentionally blocking her path. "You want to leave? You clearly didn’t read the contract my janitor gave you.""You won't leave my estate until the deal is done. Your mother will continue r
CHAPTER 5 SOPHIEI still can't believe that he made me watch that lewd display. He is such a psychopath and sadist that I can't stand him. Since Leo and I moved to New York after our wedding, I have been hearing about the crazy things Vincenzo does, but what he did last night tops it all. How does he even manage to treat women in such a demeaning manner?Since last night, different thoughts have been filling my mind.I couldn't help but wonder if they were under a spell. The young lady from last night can't be in her right mind and let him do those things to her, right?I heaved a deep sigh as I pulled the curtains aside and noticed it was daybreak. I couldn't sleep a wink last night—not while I was in the house of a crazed psycho like Vin. I was awake all night, constantly checking my phone in case they had reconnected the network so I could call any of my family members. That was all I cared about.I have a deep feeling that my mother isn't in the right place. Since her illness, Leo
CHAPTER 6VINCENZO “Master, your car is ready,” Scott, one of my boys, informed me while I was standing on the balcony of my estate. I nodded and gave him the go-ahead to leave; I would be on my way soon.As I made my way into the living room, Mrs. Hills blocked my path. “Good morning, Master Vin. Breakfast is ready.”I sighed. Mrs. Hills was the only one who could pull off such a stunt of stopping me when she knew I really needed to be somewhere very important. She is my personal cook and, most importantly, my nanny since I was little. If there's anyone who knows both the good and bad sides of my life, it should be her.Standing at five foot four, she is in her late sixties but has such a beautiful physique."I'm running late. I will have breakfast when I come back home,” I said, making my way out.Meetings in the White House take a lot of time. I have served in one of them. They only serve lunch and green tea in the morning.I rolled my eyes and walked out. She is quite the charact
CHAPTER 7SOPHIEHe took a deep breath, trying to look away, but I stood on my toes, cupping his face in my small hands. I hesitated for a moment, uncertain of his reaction, but quickly decided to take the shot. This was my last chance to do this and escape this place. Mrs. Hills had put in a lot of effort for me,I can’t let her down.I went for it. I gently kissed his lips, closing my eyes and praying he wouldn't reject me this time. I needed to get this over with. Pressing my lips against his, he froze for a moment before letting go of all hesitation and reciprocating."Al... Alessia..." he breathed into my mouth before lifting me onto the bed. He tumbled back, landing beside me.Once he settled into place, I let out a deep breath and corrected him. “It’s Sophie.”“Did you do this on purpose?” he asked in a serious tone, spoiling the fun and d
CHAPTER 8VINCENZO Dammit… What the fuck is going on? Five years, and I’ve never dropped a tool while fucking someone. Sophie must have some kind of charm or maybe a bit of voodoo to make me fuck her without any of my tools. And worst of all, I know her name. That is ridiculous. I don't know any of my playthings' names. I just give them numbers based on who is my favorite at the moment. I've never inquired about their names—not once. If anyone should know their names, it’s probably Niko and Scott. They’re the ones who draft contracts for each of the women I stay with.I make sure they sign their respective contracts and NDAs to keep my reputation intact and to cover my tracks so my enemies can’t find any angles to attack me from. But with Sophie, she refused to submit to me, and yet—scary as it is—I still know her name?I mused to myself, shaking my head. It’s not what I’m thinking. It definitely isn’t…As I watched Sophie leave my mansion, the scenes from last night played in my hea
CHAPTER 9SOPHIE It's been approximately seven hours since I started sitting in this lobby, waiting for my mom to come out. She has been in the surgery room since I arrived at the hospital. My brother, Zayn, was sleeping on my lap. He hugged me when I arrived and quickly asked me to buy him something to eat, which I did. Now he was asleep, while I patted him to rest since he has been the only one staying with our mother for the past few months.I carefully ran my hand through his curly brown hair as he slept on my lap. My chest swelled with happiness that I was back with my family. At least I could see them now, hold them now, and even have discussions with them. Zayn told me how Leo had come to the hospital and demanded that the doctor discharge our sick mother immediately. When he tried to talk to him, they ended up throwing fists, and he got arrested. He was later released by a good Samaritan whom I didn't get the chance to meet.I heaved a deep sigh, and my chest tightened. Leo i
CHAPTER 10.SOPHIE I blinked rapidly, trying to process the situation. I just applied there yesterday, and this morning it's already approved?I still can't wrap my head around how fast it went and how possible it was at a gigantic magazine company like Jerald. But either way, Jenny said she has her ways. Besides, she has been in this longer than I have.“Can I at least take a quick bath?” I questioned, panicking. “I look like shit, Jenny. I can't go to an interview like this.”“Interview?” Jenny scoffed, approaching me. “Who said it is an interview? You're hired.”“How is that even possible, Jenny? They didn't ask me any questions or see my physique, and they want me as their worker? Come on, Jenny, things don't work that way,” I said, creeping in doubt.Jenny sighed. “You know what, Sophie? Just go take your bath right now. I will drive you there. I already told you that I called my sources in there, and they hired you right away.”“Come on, Sophie, I’ve got you in this,” she added
CHAPTER 75.SOPHIE The world seemed to pause. The room fell into a heavy silence, broken only by gasps. Vincenzo wasn’t lying; everyone was holding their breath as they stared at me. I froze for a moment, his eyes piercing into mine—both shocked and amused.“Oh my goodness!” The MC’s voice snapped everyone back to the stage. “That was spectacular! Is there anyone who can do better than this?”He looked around before continuing, “Okay then, it’s sold to the damsel sitting over there.”The room erupted into applause, and I felt a thrilling twist of excitement in my stomach. It felt exhilarating to have so many eyes on me, and bargaining at the auction was thrilling. But Vincenzo's face twisted into a frown as he leaned closer. “You’re making a lot of people aware of who you are. Right now, I feel like punishing you!”I smiled and rolled my eyes. “Go ahead and do it. I want to be punished for acting like a child.”He scoffed and looked away for a moment before grabbing my arm. “Let’s go
CHAPTER 74 SOPHIE This place exudes wealth and luxury. I feel so nervous that I can barely breathe. Just looking at the cars parked in the driveway tells me how many dignitaries are inside. The driveway is lined with sleek, high-end vehicles that gleam in the soft light of the setting sun. I spotted a Bentley, a Rolls-Royce, and even a Lamborghini, each perfectly polished. As I stepped out right after Vincenzo, the mansion itself was a sight to behold. Its exterior is flawless, made of honey-colored stone.Vin turned to me, squeezing my hands reassuringly. “Don’t worry, you’re safe with me. We own this place; there’s no need to be nervous, okay?”I nodded and managed a smile, trying to hide the fact that my heart was pounding in my chest. As we approached the entrance, the men at the door bowed their heads respectfully and greeted him, while others shook hands with Scott and Niko, who were trailing behind us.Everywhere I looked, there was clear evidence of the Bianchi family's incr
CHAPTER 73.SOPHIE.Since we came back from the salon, he hasn't replied to my text message. At first, I was pissed that he hadn't seen it, but now I'm relieved that he hasn't. I already deleted it. I have to calm down; it seems like something is fishy. The last time I asked, he said he didn't know who she was, but now I saw them talking and smiling. She even patted his back. I try so hard to act like nothing happened and that I didn't see them, but I just can't help it. I have a feeling that, deep down, something is wrong. The only question that lingers in my mind is: Who is she to Vincenzo? He didn't want me to know he knew her, so I'll find out my own way without telling him.But for now, I choose to pretend I didn't see them and enjoy the groove of attending his parents' ball party. That is all that really matters right now.The next minute, Vincenzo wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. “I'm ready….”I turned around, forcing a smile as I looked at him. I was met wi
CHAPTER 73 VINCENZO When I checked the time, I quickly hurried back to the salon. I was sure Sophie must be done. I had been at the bunker with Niko earlier. One of my deadbeat debtors was brought in, and I had to quickly teach him a lesson. I had given that bastard loans during one of his darkest times, and since then, he had avoided me and refused to pay me back. Well, now he had lost a few fingers as a warning. If after seventy-two hours he still hadn’t come back to pay his debts, I would have all ten of his fingers removed, along with his feet. After that, I hurried back; I didn’t want to keep her waiting. She was too beautiful for that, so I raced my best and quickly parked in the garage of the salon. But as I stepped out of my car, I heard the screech of a bike, which grabbed my attention. When I looked sideways, I saw Kitty on her bike.“Hey, Vin!” she smiled, turning over her bike once she saw me. “How’s your health? You need to call me back for another treatment, or are you
CHAPTER 72SOPHIE My body tensed up, and my jaw dropped as I took in the details of her face and body. The scar on her upper brow, the patch over her eye, and the little tattoo down her jawline? That was her! The same one who had been stalking me just days ago in Vincenzo's penthouse!I snapped away from her grip and clutched my hands tightly to the arms of my chair as I stared at her, my eyes trailing down her body. It was well-covered today, so I couldn't see all those tattoos I remembered. The lady washing my hair continued; she didn’t notice anything, but my heart was pounding in my chest at the sight of the woman who wanted to kill me in my dream a few nights ago. I mean, what are the odds that she doesn’t also want to kill me in real life?"I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you, pretty," she said softly, her warm smile sending cold shivers down my spine. "I was just trying to greet you, dear."I stared blankly at her, my mouth dry, and nodded slowly, not bothering to speak. I
CHAPTER 71SOPHIE Two days have passed since that terrifying night.Well, not just two days, but out of those two days, I'm only very excited today because I will be attending Vincenzo's family ball dinner banquet. I can’t wait to meet his family, and most importantly, his mother again. Last time she came by the penthouse, she was all jovial and nice; her aura is quite contagious, even if I hate to admit it.She doesn’t really look like what the media says about her. It’s nice o’clock this morning, and the first thing on our schedule is going to the salon to get my hair done. Vincenzo requested that she bring me home, but I declined. Staying here in this penthouse is just so frustrating and boring. I want to go out more with him so a lot of people can see us together. I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels important that people back off if they have any motive of shooting their shot at him.He isn't always here with me, and I can’t monitor everywhere he goes, but most of the ti
CHAPTER 70SOPHIE The door creaked open, and a middle-aged woman walked in.Clad in a simple but shiny jumpsuit, with gold jewelry adorning her wrists and neck, she carried her Hermès bag with so much class. Her tattoos could be seen shining from a mile away.I froze in my steps as I watched her confidently walk inside the house. It was locked up with fingerprints and passwords, which meant she had either of them. We both stood, watching her walk up to the table; she dropped her bag and heaved a deep sigh of relief. Raising her gaze, only then did our eyes meet.“Oh my God?” She seemed a little surprised to see us. She chuckled. “I didn't know you were here.”Vincenzo sighed, approaching her. “Mum, what are you doing here?” he asked, and I almost gasped. That was his mother? Holy fuck!I didn’t know that; he had never shown me any of his family, so I wasn’t supposed to know, and they weren’t in the news either.“What do you mean by that?” she hissed, pushing past him. “Am I not suppo
CHAPTER 69SOPHIE I really don't know how we got here.I don't know how I let him kiss me and give in to him so quickly. My hands were on his crotch, and his dick was hard as hell!Yes, I wanted it. I wanted to taste it in my mouth. I wanted to feel it inside me.I wanted my hands tied to the bed frame. I wanted my legs chained to the frame while he fucked me.Yes, that is what I want right now. Each of his kisses and his tongue tangling made my clit wet.He slowly let me down onto the bed, as if he were scared I would get injured.I sat up and lunged for his belt immediately, undoing it hastily, but he stopped me.“Do you really want this?” he asked worriedly, and I stylishly nodded my head.He let his trousers down, and his cock twitched in front of my face.A satisfying feeling filled me, and I trailed my tongue along the sides, looking at him to gauge his reaction.I slowly took it all into my mouth and then let it out again. I poured some saliva over it and gagged on it, deep-th
CHAPTER 68VINCENZOI noticed Sophie hesitated to get out of the car and enter the penthouse. It seems she still believes a woman was watching her. Niko assured me that Kitty was nowhere near my penthouse last night; she visited her mother's husband down in Houston and couldn't return the same day. Sophie must be hallucinating. The dream she had must have been so vivid that it has left a lasting impact on her. I considered suggesting that I stay with her in the penthouse, but I didn't want it to seem like I was desperate. Truth be told, I am desperate for her since she came back into my life, but I need to hide that urge and maintain the appearance that I've changed in some ways. I've sent her flowers, taken her to dinner, and shared lunch with her. I plan to do even more if it helps win her back. “Don’t you think we should see a doctor?” I asked, concerned. She looked up at me, frowning. “You really think I’m losing my mind, right?” “Of course not!” I defended quickly, raising
