Lyra's POV
The world comes into sharp focus as I open my eyes, every sense heightened to an almost painful degree. The pack house thrums with an energy I've never felt before – or rather, never been able to perceive until now. I can feel the ley lines pulsing beneath the floorboards, sense the intricate web of pack bonds stretching out in all directions.
Xander's face hovers above me, his eyes wide with a mixture of relief and apprehension. "Lyra?" he whispers, his voice catching. "Are you... you?"
