We got redressed and sorted out Grandma's study before moving to sit down in the living room and talk. There was a lot to discuss, like why did he come back? Where had he been? What has he been doing?... and most importantly.. Where did it leave us now?

We sat down, and he instantly took my hand in his, it made me smile. Just a small act of affection showed so much love.

'I never stopped loving you Melissa, Not for a second'. I couldn't make eye contact with him, I wasn't saddened by his comment, but it made me feel a little down.
