Dropping my phone onto my lap, glancing at Luke with a small smile; "I have an appointment this afternoon at 4:15."
Luke nods never taking his eyes off the road as he replies; "That's great baby, we'll let Mitchell know so we can leave early enough."
Entering the building instantly searching for
"Awesome, I'm excited too."An hour later, we've finished at the doctor's and already called Mrs. Able to let her know we're on our way to the group home as I stare at the paper and picture in my hands in complete awe and shock. Luke cannot seem to wipe the smile from his lips either; I don't want either of us too either.
Smiling to myself as Luke carries our son upstairs, I gather our dirty dishes to place in the dishwasher after rinsing; the dishwasher will be run in the morning after breakfast. Once I've finished I lock all the doors and windows and shut off the lights and then make my way upstairs to Tyler's bedroom where I can hear Luke and Tyler talking quietly."We can ask papa when he comes up, okay?" I hear Luke say as I enter Tyler's bedroom.
"The adoption case of Tyler Greene to Mr. Carmichael and Mr. Quinn," the court clerk states loudly and clearly.Luke and I stand with Tyler on my hip to walk with Mrs. Able and Mr. Easton to stand in front of the judge at his desk; who shifts through his files until he finds our file before brightly smiling at us; "Which one of you is Liam Quinn?"
The baby's middle name is going to be Patrick; so his name will either be Tristan Patrick Carmichael or Thatcher Patrick Carmichael.Oh, also just as important; Tyler's birthday is in two weeks on April 7th and my oldest baby is going to be 3 years old and makes me sad yet happy at the same time! BTW (By The Way) there's another fundraiser this weekend that all of us are working despite Luke's protest and Tyler is coming with us as we are only traveling to Cheyenne, which is about a ten minute d
"We're good too, thanks," I respond as does Paul but Tyler watches them curiously."What those?" Tyler asks gesturing toward their vests with patches curiously' taking in the colorful patches."These little man are patches," the single man answers gently despite his gruff appearance; long dark b
Once Julia's asleep on my chest on our bed, I allow myself to break down fully with not witnesses as my heart wrenching sobs and fleeting thoughts that I wish Liam all the happiness in the world; but I wish upon a star that it was us and not that other man who had children with Liam.Falling asleep tonight in bed with my female half, my female soul mate but we're missing our other soul mate; who is in the arms of another man and forever.
While Luke eats while still holding Tristan, with Tyler at the table with us as he colors in a coloring book and I talk with my love. "How do you feel about a couple of friends coming over tonight, they miss you and the boys?"Thinking it over for a few minutes before answering; "That's fine but could we order pizza because I don't feel like cooking for tonight?"
Once his arms are wrapped tightly around me; one around my waist and the other holding my head to his chest, my knees give out making him hold me upright against his body; "Everyone I love leaves me in some way and I'm scared the same will happen with the boys."Sshh, nothing like that is going to happen with the boys," he assures softly in my ear as he gently rocks us side to side.
Axel picks both of our boys into his arms as I answer Tyler's question; "Yes we are baby; you and Tristan are going to be in the wedding too.""Congrats, you two," Parker says as he, Riley, Julia, the rest of 'The Gray Rebel's' and the Carmichael brothers join us; with bright happy smiles on their lips.
I'm pretty sure Riley and Julia will be there from the way Parker was talking earlier; when we arrive twenty minutes later and my anxiety spikes when I see two extra vehicles besides Parker's truck."Ready baby?" Axel asks; kissing my hand.Inhaling deeply as I stare at Parker's house slightly a
"I can't speak for my brothers but until you get over your issues with Liam, I will not have anything to do with you either," Steven states firmly."Same goes for me," Carson and I both firmly state together."Why me; I didn't do anything to Liam?" dad asks quietly and brokenly.
Turning to the Carmichael's with a sad smile; "Once the three of us are settled wherever we move too, I'll be changing their last names to mine and cutting all ties to your family; so you don't have to be associated with us any longer."Looking back down at Tyler as I open the door for us to leave the house with a guilty sigh before saying the others; "Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas."
The boys happily play with three other children, two boys and a girl for about forty minutes before we move onto another exhibit; this one is different toys in a foam pit that the kids play in for thirty minutes before they grow tired of this and we move onto a farm themed area.At the moment, I think the farm exhibit is both of the boys' favorite but there is still one more floor to explore; the upstairs has a round metal table with different wands to play with bubbles and a metal open contraption to pull a rope and encase yo
"Sounds great, goodnight Vance and thanks again," I say hugging him again before he leaves and I change before cuddling with Tyler in bed and fall fast asleep.Tristan wakes me at 8 a.m. so I climb carefully out of bed since Tyler is still sleeping to pick my baby boy from the crib; which was easy to do since he's standing and holding onto the side as he hollers rather loudly; "Pa!"
Ty carries the mail back into the house for me before handing it over with a huge toothy grin; after thanking him, he bounces into the living room to play as Tristan and I follow him and I place Tristan down so he can play too. Shuffling through the mail, finding a few bills, most junk but there is one that takes me by surprise; I have no idea who A. Moore is from San Diego but I tear the envelope open to find a hand written letter from a man I think.Sitting on the floor with the boys after tossing the rest of the mail on the
Four hours later, the party is done and was a success if I do say so myself, I think; as the boys seem to have fun; once the kids were gone, leaving the Carmichael's and us, there is a loud knock on the front door confusing the hell out of all us adults. Walking to the door to answer it with Tristan on my hip while Tyler is latched onto Vance in the living room; my mouth drops open at the sight of the four people standing in front of me. All four people standing in front of me have sheepish smiles on their faces as each one holds a small wrapped present in their hands.
