She Is Worse Than We Imagined

POV: Victoria

“Who are you people, what do you want from us?

What do you want from us?!” I yelled in frustration as one of the guys lifted Claire from the floor and carried her on his shoulder. Before I could say Jack, another one of the boys lifted me from the floor and threw me on his shoulder too.

“So you plan to use your family’s wealth to deal with me huh?” Mom asked me in a mocking tone as she headed back to her luggage and hid her gun in it before walking out with her purse in her hand. I was hanging on the shoulder of a stranger, but I could see her walking out while someone dragged her luggage and followed her out.

The funny thing is that she isn’t limping like someone who is sick. She has always been sick, always having us around to take care of her needs and keep her company. Now as I watched her walking behind us and giving orders to the boys, I couldn’t help wondering if she was even sick like she claimed.

Was that also a lie, has she been pretending to be sick just
