“We are not playing games, Mr. Hawkins; we are hiding from the thugs that evaded your home while you were away. They had guns, Mr Hawkins, they threatened to shoot us if we made any move to contact the cops or you. They were so mean and heartless, they hurt anyone that refused to follow their orders.” One of the maids let out in fear, her voice breaking at the end.

“They robbed us and left with ma’am Eloise and her two girls.” Another girl added sadly, her eyes filled with tears. I don’t even know if she is crying for herself or for Marisol and her daughter, who is missing.

“What thugs? Where are the guards? Who let them in? Who brought them here?!” Raphael asked in anger, kicking the lamp on the table in front of him. He looked so furious, I wanted to punch him in the fucking face.

“What games are you playing, Raphael? Are you in this together? Are you working with Eloise to keep my sister away from me?
