POV: Miguel

“You actually thought the Hawkins would stop and come over here to speak with you?” the arrogant guy asked me rudely. I sneered at him, trying not to punch him in the fucking face. If he had said one more thing to annoy me, I would have given him a good beating right here.

But I wasn’t in the mood for trouble, the last thing I want is to start a fight that would delay me and keep me from catching up with Marisol. I forced my way through the crowd, maneuvering through the excited men and women who kept trying to catch up with his car. I managed to catch up with the last car before it zoomed off, but one of his guards stepped down and pushed me off roughly, warning me to back off.
