“I called mom. She said that Ian had fun and now he is peacefully sleeping.” Stella informed Matt, while the latter came out of the bathroom. “Hmm.”“What is with this attitude? Did I do something wrong?” “Yes, you did.” The irritated man yelled. “Why are you raising your voice? And what did I do?” She sat beside him on the bed. “Nothing.” He coldly replied as he stood up drying his wet hair. “Matt.” She grabb
At Matt’s company,“The meeting is over. Thank you all for your attendance and precious opinions. Be ready for next time, we are having a very important meeting with some personalities from all over the world.” Matt declared. His smile faded away whenever his eyes laid on his one and only best friend, John.As everyone excused themselves, Matt moved closer to John and leaned in near his ear. “We have things to talk about later.” He then walked off the meeting room.
She rushed to open the door, but he grabbed her once again. “Let’s meet again.” She pushed his hand away, walking out of the room. Ian opened the door as well, dragging the bag on the floor. “It’s too heavy for me, mommy.” She quickly took it off his hands before sanding a glare at John. “Stella!” “I’m coming.” She headed downstairs, straight to the kitchen. “Where have you been?” “She was with-”
Nancy shook John’s arm to wake him up. “It’s time for you to go to work.” She said softly as the man rubbed his eyes. When she went down to prepare breakfast, John took a quick shower, wore a casual yet chic outfit, and headed downstairs. “Won’t you eat breakfast with me?” He averted his glare towards the sound of her voice. He approached the breakfast table, taking a bite from every single plate on the table.
Later that day,John left the office soon as he jumped into his car. “Nancy, where are you?” He spoke as she picked up the call. “I went back home. Are you calling me from work?” She looked at her hand watch. “Um, yeah. I just wanted to know if you need anything.” He lied. “Um, I would like to eat pizza with you.” “Alright. I’ll buy w
Nancy rushed to the front door as soon as she heard it open. John walked in with a smile on his face, he proceeded to kiss her cheek, before throwing himself on the couch. She sat beside him, examining his empty hands. “What?” He laid his eyes on her confused expression. “Did you forget something?” She asked.“O-M-G!” He pressed his hand on his forehead. “I’m sorry, Nancy.” “You never seem to change.” She held her tears, making
Matt tried his best to hold his smile back while Pamela stepped backwards towards the door. As soon as she left, he let out a small chuckle.“My badass girl.” He pulled her towards him as she spread her legs and sat on his lap, facing him. “Did you notice her expression? It felt like she wanted to cover her shameless face.” Stella laughed. She knew she succeeded with her plan. She kissed him, holding onto the chair as their breathy kiss deepened. “You turned me on, naughty girl. I should go back to work.” He muttered between the lips.
“I needed you earlier but Diana told me you left your office too early and it’s not the first time.” Matt said as his car stopped near Stella’s workplace. When Stella walked out of the kitchen, her eyes laid on Matt’s car. She quickly rushed inside closing the door, while she leaned her back against it, with her heart beating fast.“I had something to do.” He lied while looking confusingly at Stella. “Matt is here.” She whispered, biting her lower lip.
“Remember when I first saw you.” John’s mouth twisted. “You sat beside the gas fireplace while I studied your perfect features. At that time, I couldn’t blame Matt for cheating on his wife.” He sighed, looking at Stella’s hand as he traced imaginary circles across them. “I ended up falling in love with you and I made you cheat on him in return. I know I’m such a coward, but what else could I have done to control my feelings for you?”Stella stared at him in silence, before he left the swimming pool and sat beside her. “I know you have nothing to say, Stella. Believe me, you will have many things to talk about after I earn your heart.”
Nancy walked inside the living room with a cup of tea. “Here!” She handed it to Matt. “I’m not in the mood to drink anything.” Matt said, not moving his eyes from the laptop. “The tea will calm your nerves and help you focus more…You didn’t eat anything at all. Please Matt, drink this.” Nancy insisted and he finally looked up at her, taking the cup in his hands. “So, did you find something interesting?” Nancy averted her gaze towards the laptop’s screen.
The stars were nonexistent in that cloudy night which rolled in covering the last of the twilight sky. Moments later, the grey clouds blanketed the sky, hiding the full moon which fought to shine through them. “It’s been hours since we are looking for them. Let’s go back tomorrow, Matt.” Nancy raised her head to the dark sky.“I should find her, Nancy. I can’t sleep, knowing she is somewhere in the middle of the ocean.” Irritated, Matt slammed his hand against the closest surface. “Matt.” Nancy approached, staring at him with a dismayed look on her face. “I’m as worried as you are, but now the chances to find them are low. Look at around you.” She pointed at the dark ocean.
“Fuck this!” Matt cursed. “He is forcing her to talk.” He shoved the phone back in his pocket. He walked back and forth, starting to lose his patience. The security agent ran back to Matt and Nancy. “Here you go. You take this yacht.” He led them, as the rain got heavier. “I’ll never let go of her. Never ever!” Nancy heard Matt repeating to himself. She placed her hand on his arm, giving him a warm smile. “You will have her between your hands soon.”
The maid swung the door open. “Is mom home?” Nancy asked as she rushed inside with Ian. “In the living room, miss.”Ian burst into tears when he saw his grandparents. He jumped into Addison’s arms, sobbing against her chest. “Why are you crying, little man?”Addison stroked his hair, before she looked up at Nancy.“John kidnapped Stella.” Nancy informed. “My dear daughter.&rd
Stella walked up to Matt. She rolled his wheeling chair to her direction and sat on his desk. He smirked, watching her body moves which never knew the meaning of hesitation. “Call her to your office!” She ordered. Above all, her soft voice added more attraction to her dangerous looks.“Okay, boss.” Matt grabbed the phone, placing one hand on Stella’s bare thigh. “Diana! Call Pamela to my office.” He put the phone back to its place, throwing his back against the will and winking at his wife with a serious face.Seconds later, Pamela appeared in the room with her usual high heels.
Ian held his parents hands to both sides as they walked off the hospital. “Who is that woman who died, daddy?” Ian asked. Meanwhile, John came out behind them, shoving his hands inside his pockets. Matt kneeled down, cupping his son’s cheeks. “Forget about her, Ian. It’s over now.” Ian hugged him tight. “You will come with us, right?” Ian mumbled against Matt’s chest. Matt looked up at Stella as he got up. The latter’s mouth curved up into a smile. “Let’s go home, little man.” Matt pushed Ian inside the car. He then turned around, meeting Jo
Stella’s phone rung, while John was driving his way towards Stella. He picked up, rolling his eyes. “What do you want from Stella at this late hour?” John roared. “I’m calling her to tell her that Nancy is living tonight. I’m at the airport and I couldn’t hold her back.” Leo informed. “I’m quite busy for Nancy’s shit. Stella and Ian got kidnapped.” John raged. “Wait, what? I-” John hung up before Leo finished his sentence.“Damn!” Leo cursed. He then ran after Nancy until he caught her up. “Nancy!” He yelled. &ld
Matt and Stella stared at John in silence. The latter approached them with his glaring eyes fixed on the girl he loved. “What about the beautiful time we had together?” John asked, tightening his fists.“That was a mistake, John. Stella had always been mine and no one can stand against our love.” Matt said, holding his chin up. Meanwhile, Stella glanced at John with watery eyes.“It’s my fault that all the people who love me are in pain.” Stella pressed her hand against her chest. “John, Nancy and Matt. My mistakes keep hurting you.” Stella averted her gaze to Matt.
