Chapter 508 A Subterfuge to Trick Her

For a second Jessica appeared rather awkward. She had little acquaintance with this puissant man, but this man clearly knew more than a few things about her.

Why had he insisted that she do the interview and accompany him from start to finish?

It struck her that things were not as simple as they seemed...

She didn't deny the fact that she was married, but there was no way she was standing on her toes to fix his tie for him. That was out of line.

Morrison eyed her fixedly, the lines around his mouth tightening.

Another few seconds later, he impatiently whipped his hands from his pockets, grabbed his tie and, giving it a pull, snapped, "I'll do it myself!"

His pull was hefty. Jessica did not know whether he did it intentionally or unintentionally, but because of the pull, she was jerked over to him as well and bumped into his chest.

"You did it on purpose?"

Morrison's voice was tingled with a slight drawl, a ghost of a sly smile touching his lips.

Jessica quickly regained her ba
