“So, my love, I was thinking… after our wedding, we should take some time off, just the two of us, to really enjoy ourselves,” Ivan said as we walked back into the mansion, his hand slipping into mine.

“That sounds like a great idea,” I replied, giving him a soft smile. The thought of getting away, far from the drama of Mrs. Carlos and Nathaniel, felt like a breath of fresh air.
