CHAPTER 223

PRECIOUS

When I woke up, I found out that I was the only one in bed. The scents of my mates were still ever present, and I started sniffing the bed and pillows because I had already started to miss them.

Sandalwood, chocolate and red wine, fresh pine and grass after it rains, bursts of amaretto and cinnamon buns, and the rich scent of sweet almonds and roses wafted into my nose.

Yummy!

That one word was enough to describe their scents, but I still preferred to have their bodies melted against mine rather than to sniff the bed and pillows.

Getting up from the bed, I spread out my arms as a yawn escaped my mouth. Just like I expected, the long hours of sleep actually helped to soothe my tired bones.

Hunger like I had never experienced struck me, and I instinctively placed a hand to my tummy.

“Looks like someone is hungry,” Michelle chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. “Shut up. If I don't eat you won't as well. So as one body, I can say you are hungry as well.”
