AUTHOR

A young man hid in a corner watching some people go about their business. He is tall and lean, with good broad shoulders that looked sexy and hot under the light shirt he wore. His black pair of jeans made him look nothing like a prince. He's the young prince of the Silverpaw Gate, the one who many women died to have and you can not blame them because he's indeed a very handsome man.

Matteo stared as the members of the pack house went about their business, his young mind full of mischief as he had already thought of what to do. There has always been a feud between the Lycans and the werewolves. The Lycans are considered as the strongest amongst them with more heightened personal traits so because of this, they could easily overpower the werewolves.

'I think it's time to shake the waters a bit. These werewolves have stayed for a long time without getting any trouble from us.'

'And I also think that father would be excited to hear about them.'

Matteo hid away so that no one could see him. He's aware that once he's caught, that they were likely to not let him go because having a Lycan in the midst of werewolves was trouble spelled out for them.

All he wanted to do was simple; observe them and report back to his father. He was after all still a teenager and there were things he could not handle on his own, things like fighting the werewolves on his own because he's outnumbered and it would be a different case if they caught him because he knew that he would be as good as being dead.

Meanwhile, Beta Riley caught a different scent from the air; he already knew its smell and he wondered what could possibly be wrong. Then he looked up from what he was busy typing away on his system and looked outside his window and it was then that he saw someone hiding behind an old building that they were no longer making use of.

The man shifted farther behind that house when he sensed someone watching him and this heightened Beta Riley's suspicion. He got up from his seat, closing the system with one hand, and moved to the window to get a clearer view. Then he perceived the man's scent more, thinking that the scent can always belong to that of a Lycan, he left the window and sauntered out his room.

He tried contacting Alpha Rodriguez through his mind link and after his second attempt, he got to him immediately.

[Alpha Rodriguez I think there's trouble here!]

[What? Speak! Let me know what you are talking about.]

[There's a Lycan in our pack. Come quickly Alpha, I'm about to approach him unawares and I need for you to be present.]

[Tell me where you are and I will meet you there asap.]

[You are not around? I'm standing in front of my room.]

[Hold on, will be there soon]

With that Alpha Rodriguez disconnected from the mind link and Beta Riley stood waiting for him. Soon, Alpha Rodriguez appeared and he looked a little disturbed. No one can blame him, not when having a Lycan around. It was always big enough to make any big man wet his pants. All werewolves are afraid of Lycans whether they are small or huge, they still have the same heightened physical attributes.

“Where's he?” Alpha Rodriguez inquired, a trail of heat dripping down his face as he looked at Beta Riley questionably.

Beta Riley showed him where the Lycan was, his muscles flexing in his shirt as his chest and Alpha Rodriguez nodded and said in a hurried tone. “How do we solve this problem, Riley?”

Riley's gaze remained fixed on the Lycan and he said without batting an eye, "Let's kill him Alpha."

“What! How do we even go about it? There must be something else we can do to solve this but killing him, that's too far I must say.” Alpha Rodriguez said, and he became surprised with his own sentence. Over the last few years, he was known to be the Ruthless and powerful alpha but since the day that he purchased Precious who was now mated to his five sons, he had felt a change in his life and actions.

“Do you have a better suggestion, Alpha?” Beta Riley inquired, turning to look at him. "If we let this Lycan out of here today, we are not going to be in a lot of trouble. Remember the war between the two races and the Lycans might win us today, let's kill him because I can smell trouble brewing."

“Alright, gather a few of our men, let's surround him.”
