Oh no ! I’m pregnant

“Oh man, I can feel that you are having an attachment to that girl," his friend said.

"I was her first and I took advantage of her. I put her in an unfortunate situation. I can't find her anywhere and I haven't been at ease since the day we had intimacy," he wailed in pain.

"I'm feeling guilty, man," he said as he stood up to gasp a breath. His friend Tom joined him and patted his shoulder.

"It's okay, man. We will look for her," Tom said.

"Who knows if she will forgive me?" Jackson asked.

"Don't worry. She will. I assure you," Tom said as he poked him.

It has been four months now and Kate's pregnancy was showing. Everyone knew she was sacked from her job as a receptionist at a hotel. "I'm sorry, Kate. We can't continue to work with you. We don't need you anymore," her boss told her. She vowed not to forgive the father of her baby for putting her in this misery. Now, she had a little savings and still worked hard to save more for her unborn child and herself. She started selling seafood and was making a little saving.

She frowned as she saw that today's sales were poor. Since morning until now, she had not sold a single fish. "Heaven show me mercy," she said as she released a heavy sigh and bent her head down.

"Kate, are you okay?" she was startled by the voice she heard. The voice was sonorous, like that of Grace, her neighbor. She raised her head and saw the dazzling young lady standing in front of her.

"Grace, I'm fine. I haven't sold anything since this morning, and it's saddening," she hissed.

"Don't worry, Kate. All will be well. I can help you go home and rest. You look tired," Grace said as she reached for her hand to help her stand.

"Kate, I haven't seen Jane in forever ; I hope everything is good."

she prompted her.

“I prayed that she would be protected wherever she is at this moment“. Her voice is so feeble.

“What happened, and are you ready to discuss it? “

She noticed the trembling in Kate's voice and got out of her chair.

“Could I get you anything to eat, please?“she asked her.

She wasn't sure why Kate was pregnant without knowing who her boyfriend was; the last time she checked, Kate was single. She was also curious about what might have happened that night that Kate and Jane went to the hotel.

It’s possible that something horrific happened that night they went out that put Kate into this predicament,

She was so worried about Kate since she is aware of how much suffering Kate has endured, and because Kate is now expecting a child, she will not allow her to bear the cross by herself.

If only Kate understood how much she desired to be treated as a member of her family.

She is here because she genuinely cares for her, not because she is a friend or neighbor.

Kate sat drowsily on the bed and rubbed her tummy,

"Yes, Grace, I'm truly hungry." She said to Grace.

One can see by glancing at her face that she worked extremely hard all day.

Grace entered the kitchen to begin cooking a sumptuous meal; after she finished, they shared it. they laughed together as they recalled their moment in the past.

It’s been nine months now. Kate woke up with cramp-like symptoms.

Grace came to her house to see her she entered inside as fear filled her mind meanwhile she has been knocking for awhile but there was no respond from Kate she saw her bent her face with tears dripping from her eyes worried crept over her.

“Kate, are you okay?” she asked, as she reached for her hand.

“Yes, I am. I think the baby is coming.” She screamed in pain,

her hand on her stomach, and she began experiencing contractions she shouted as it grew more intense every minute.

They promptly entered a taxi on their way to the hospital while Grace hurried to obtain one, and Kate soon realized she was pushing.

She felt she was moving far more quickly than she had anticipated as she reached down.

She sobbed, "I don't think I can go to the hospital."

Grace urged Kate, "Please keep your spirits up; you will be okay “.

As soon as they arrived at the hospital,

they led her to a room where she could give birth, and she laid down.

She sighed with relief as the moment she had been looking forward to for days and months finally arrived. She inhaled deeply and prepared herself.

she took a deep breath and was very ready for the baby to arrive as she push for her baby to come out with her own power

She was feeling overwhelm and anxious while she followed her body she yell as her baby sliding out of her .

they gave her baby to carry without cutting her umbilical Cord

the baby was warm, wet,soft and smell good.

she held her baby nothing can compare to excitement of being a mother as she caress The baby cheek softly

the baby blubber as the nurse took the baby from her and cut her umbilical cord.

They helped Kate put the baby to sleep after she had finished breast-feeding her.

Grace entered the room to meet her and her baby ,

"Wow, she's such a cute little thing." She said as she touch the baby cheeks softly,

"Well done, Kate." She embraces Kate.

"Thank you, Grace, for everything. If not you, I don’t know if I can fight this to the end." She hugs Grace firmly, refusing to let her take a breath.

“ The best thing that has ever happened to me and my baby is you “. she said again.

She had a sad expression on her face, and tears were streaming from her eyes as she reminisced about the time Jackson had sucked himself inside of her.

She doubts that Jackson will ever be pardoned for putting her through this.

She was amused by how stunningly beautiful her baby was and wondered if she resembled her father, whom she preferred not to think about.

She hated the father of her child so much that she will never be able to forgive him.

A few days later, she was no longer in the hospital and had returned home. She was overjoyed and depressed every single second.

She occasionally gets emotional, impatient, and tearful; she needed people's affection and attention, but Grace was there for her, giving her all the love she could.

Additionally, despite having passed the pregnancy test for nine months, she was unaware that giving birth might be difficult.

She is both physically and emotionally challenged, and as tears filled her eyes, she said she would rather not become pregnant, especially after what happened between her and Jackson she fled from the bed immediately on hearing her blubber, she carried her and breastfeed her.

She still had tears in her eyes, but she couldn't tell if they were from the hurt she was feeling or from the night she had been with Jackson.

Since that night, Jackson had not felt at ease. He was sitting in his living room and admiring the breathtaking view from his balcony.

The weather forecast for today indicates that it will rain hard, Kate told Grace.

She was getting ready to sell sea fish at the market so that she could get what the baby will be eating.

She has been living with Grace for a month now because she was kicked out of her home because she was unable to pay the rent. Grace offered to help her with the problem, so she is now staying with her.

“Yes, Kate, it merely squalled while you were asleep, but I suppose it will rain heavily”, Grace said to her, helping her to comprehend that today's market wouldn't be pleasant.

However, she is adamant about leaving because she is truly in desperate need of money.

Grace has been a blessing, and she tried not to be a burden. All she could do was sit and observe her as she went about her business.

She no longer qualifies as a new mother, and thus she needs to start acting now that her cramp has completely subsided.

She can work because she is physically capable of doing so. "No Grace; let me go, I need to do something," she pleaded.

"All right, if that's what you want, I'll look after Melissa," Grace replied.

“I'm grateful to you forever, Grace“.

She gave her a hug before departing.

She headed to the market as the rain and wind became ferocious.

As she hurried to avoid the rain, a Honda automobile struck her, causing her to fall to the ground.

Her arm and head were dripping with blood as she was severely injured.

A man emerged from the car and began to pull her as she lay there helplessly.

Eyes hazy when they rise

She blinks her eyes completely and can identify who it is.

As Jackson covered the wound in her leg with his shirt to stop it from spilling too much blood while he saw her, he was startled to find her heart was pounding so violently.

As he carried her to his car, he wondered why he kept making himself a burden in her life. The accident had traumatized Kate, who was still in a coma and unable to understand what was happening around her.

Jackson, who is still reeling from what happened, is at a loss for what to do but transport her to the hospital's emergency room, where staff members can provide her prompt medical attention and determine the extent of her condition.

It's 5:00 p.m. Grace has Melissa in her hand and wonders what's causing the tension. She felt odd. While Melissa has been sobbing for a while because she needs to be breastfed despite being only one month old, she is hoping that nothing awful has happened to Kate.

Grace can't wait any longer, but her mother hasn't returned yet, apparently forgetting that she has a kid.

The sight of Melissa sobbing unceasingly depressed her.

She hurriedly left the house and proceeded to the location where Kate usually hangs out and sells fish, but she was nowhere to be found.

She tried to find out if there was a chance she could see her,

Melissa who was still crying, and she couldn't help but cry with her.

"No we didn’t catch up with her rain was much. We were running inside that small house to find shelter, and neither did we know where she go," the people that was selling with her said, adding, "Neither did we know she was knocked down by a Honda car, and he took her with him“.

She inquired in an attempt to determine whether there was any prospect of seeing her with, “Holy shit, did he say where exactly he brought her to?”

Grace can't help but join Melissa in her tears ,

“No rain was much. We were racing inside that small house to get shelter. Neither did we know she hit and was carried away instantly.” the people replied this made Grace's heart race, since she has no idea how to communicate that Kate is still alive.

As yet, Kate was not awake.

The nurse opens up her airways.

They tried to revive her breath, but she wasn't breathing, so they started performing chest compressions. Her breath eventually came back, but she was still in a coma.

Her life support system was switched on.
