Chapter 18

Mona squeezes her skirt as she follows Arka to the four-wheeler. Stepping slowly, she was afraid Arka would stop suddenly, causing them to collide. Just imagining it makes Mona shudder with horror, as those eyes stare like eagles about to pounce on prey.

"Brother, I'm going to school by bicycle," Mona squeaked in a low voice, standing near the car door.

"Let's get in quickly! Don't learn to argue." Arka immediately gave Mona a sharp look that made her shrink and obey.

They were silent as they traveled, Arka focused on the road. Mona sat uneasily, afraid that something terrible would happen to her again. Arka parked the car when she arrived, told her sister-in-law to get off, and gave her some money.

"Thank you, Brother," Mona said and was about to close the door but Arka stopped her.

"Someone will pick you up after school, just obey what he says, it was your brother who told you to do it. Don't argue!" Arka's command was only answered by
