I opened my eyes and blinked many times. For a few seconds, I just stared at the ceiling.

       'Where am I?'

Then everything began to reinstall in my mind. I looked down at myself. I was in a hospital gown and lying on the hospital bed.

Thank goodness! I'm not dead! That beautiful lunatic girl! What's her problem?

My hand shot under my collarbones. There was a bandage, "I survived," My voice was loud and full of shock. My throat wasn't hurting.

"Hi, how are you feeling now?" A tender voice made my neck swivel.

My eyes dilated in fear. I squealed and pushed myself back.

Silver's eyebrows drew together, her expression was p

DASTIEN The silence felt awkward. I couldn't lock up uneasiness tight in an airless box. I wanted to cry. My grief remained locked up tight in an airless box. My green eyes were full of fury. My throat threatened to clog. The pain inside my chest deepened when I recalled her in a shredded blouse and her blood covering her creamy skin. I ran in my wolf form, howling up at the cold moon in pure fury when I couldn't hold the pain. The human girl is my mate. I was expecting a strong girl like Alessandro, he got Silver. Anger and aggression took hold on me. Silver did this to her. My Alpha Packmates could feel my anger and fear. Anger that Silver should trust her mate, Ale

I stared at Silver. She was truly a beauty with snow White skin, white-blonde hair, pink thin lips, icy blue eyes. She was looking at me with begging eyes. I snorted and looked away. 'Why does my forgiveness matter to her? She must try to do something else. Like! Kill me. I won't trust her ever.' Laughter filled the air. My attention diverted to them. The handsome boys from the table. I got discharged from the hospital one hour ago. Shock still could be read over my features that I was sleeping for a week. How did the werewolf girl do this? She seemed close to my age but stronger than me, too strong. We sat around the campfire. I had experienced this before. Jasper offered me a beer. Daniel hit him on his biceps, "She's sick, man." He drawled and grabbed the beer from him and took a long swing f

I woke up, my forehead covered with sweat, my breathing was deep. I was dreaming about the black wolf, his forest-green eyes. I rubbed my fingers, closing my eyes. I felt my heart pounding. It felt as real as I was standing in front of him and he was watching me. He howled, I wanted to howl with him. "I don't even know. What does he look like?" I pushed myself out of the bed. I needed to shower first. There was no uniform code. I jerked my top-down and pushed my hair back. I gathered them in my hand and rolled them in a bun above my head. My chest was hurting but it wasn't that bad. I took the schedule in my hand, "Maths, chem, English, Latin. Yoga? Martial arts? History of the Were?" Some subjects were completely weird.

The sun peeped through the curtains. I pulled the pillow over my face. I managed through the yoga class, but Martial arts, it's frightening me. I didn't know the name of the professor. I was praying, for him not to attend the class today, too. Childish! I love my job, Sisily was a good student and learned things easily. I throw the sheet off. I quickly shower. I didn't think Silver would be my friend anymore. She got her long gone friend. I should be happy, but the thought was disturbing me, depressing me. She was my only friend. I wasn't good at making friends. I dug through my closet, finding the right clothes. My brain was still mulling over him, the black wolf, I'm dreaming of him too, I'm not surprised, I think about him most of my day. But I forced it toward Si

I was drooling over the pillow when I woke up, "Gosh! I was dreaming about him again." We were running in the woods and he was chasing me. My laughter was echoing around with the chirping of the birds. I blushed. Would that! I could see him shifting too. I was hugging the book. I glanced at my wrist, "S***!" I shot up on my feet in alarm and wiped the back of my hand over my lips. I hurried to the washroom, washed my face and hands. I headed to the door, shoving the card key in my pocket. "Hi, I thought..." "Yeah! Got late," I shouted, waving my hand at Elizabeth. I was expecting her to hang out with Silver. But she was nowhere to see. I scurried out of the building. I was careful not to bump with anyone. I was still in the healing process. Two or three days more, I'd be totally fine. At least, I hoped so.&nb

It had been a week and I was avoiding the martial arts. I wasn't made for this class. A strong hand picked the sealed bottle of water. He sat next to me. He twisted the lid and finished the bottle in one big gulp. "Wow!" I turned my gaze to him. Jasper grinned and put the empty bottle with a thud, "What's the plan for today?" He asked, arching his brows. I shrugged my shoulders, "No classes, no job." I smiled. He leaned back and looked at me, "Where are your friends? Aren't they taking you out?" He asked, with a twist at the corners of his lips. "Can I go out of campus?" My voice was full of excitement. I wasn't minding coming to the cafeteria in my pajamas and full sleeves warm top. Walking toward the door, I clicked on her number. She answered in the first ring, "I was waiting for your call." "You already knew it," I giggled, attracting attention. "It's the weekend," I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "How are you, and mom? Is she fine? She's not having nightmares." "She's getting better." My feet halted. I inhaled deeply, tears welled in my eyes. I wasn't bothered that I was laughingstock, though, I ignored them as they weren't around her. It made things easy. "I'm so glad to hear it," My voice cracked. "Are you crying?" "No! Ava. I always wanted to hear it," "Did you meet any hotty?" "Hey! Don't change the topic." "I'm not talki

I was secretly wondering why I wanted him to talk to me so desperately. I couldn't ignore the twinge of sadness. I'm craving closeness and passion. Why? It's only for him. I expect everything from him. I'm crazy. A strong hand stopped holding a small cup. I looked up. I felt a shiver of excitement, "You came back." I jumped on my feet and wrapped my arms around him. I didn't understand anything. He made me feel safe with his burning eyes too. His hand softly rested on my back. I relaxed more. He cleared his throat. I giggled softly. My cheeks flushed more. I stepped back. He held the cup out for me. I peeped in, "Hot chocolate?" I grabbed it immediately. It must be a coincidence. He doesn't know my taste. Does he? "Th

THIRD PERSON's POV Silver slid under the duvet with her. The air was full of tension, silence was making it worse. "What are you doing?" Elizabeth asked, worry written all over her face "Look at her," Silver peered down at her and placed the back of her hand against her cheek, ''Her skin is cold. Her lips are turning blue. We can't let her die. She's our friend." "I've talked to mom. The book is the only solution." Elizabeth said, flickering her gaze out of the window. The night was dark, with no star, no moon. "How could Dastien leave her to deal with everything on her own when she doesn't know a thing about our world?" Silver muttered, under her breath. They were worried and frighten

"Are you okay, Emma?" Teal asked. I nodded my head. My gaze caught the dark leather tome. The sparkling increased and it burst into the air, it threw the book into the air and it tore into thousands of tiny pieces. The part of my brain seemed to shut off. My pulse quickened, "What's this?" I asked. "We broke the spell," Sap whispered, still in shock. I was staring at her, "Why am I precious? You know everything about me, indeed everyone." I swiped my gaze on Carlos. He returned the gaze but didn't utter a word. Sap glanced at Teal, her expression was nervous. "I need to know what's happening to me? Why am I cursed?" I never dared to ask this. Never. "You're cursed by a powerful Quee

In the morning, the sun peeked out over the tops of the mountains. I woke up with a jolt. I saw the beasts in my nightmare. I could hear the weak voices of my friends, "You're dreaming. Relax." When I opened my eyes. They were looking at me, lying next to me. I pushed myself up and climbed down the bed. I walked over to the window with sleepy eyes. A slow smile appeared on my face. There was a beautiful picturesque in front of me. "It's beautiful," Silver said. "A beautiful trap," Elizabeth murmured. "Why?" I asked, still looking at the view of hills and morning sun in front of me. "Some witches are so strong that they can destroy the world. They are full of evil."

"Wao!" I looked at the ceiling to the walls and floor with wonder. It looked like a simple house from the outside. But when I stepped in, the floor was made of polished wood, the walls were of stone, the roof was of glass, wood, and aluminum. The furniture was of dark wooden, dark and coffee brown curtains, some ancient paintings were hanging on the wall, "Your house is amazing," "I was telling the same," Silver said, giggling. Elizabeth paced toward me. I took a step back, Jasper's hand around my shoulder stopped me. " I wanna keep it," I said. "You're hurting yourself and us. You know she didn't mean to hit you." Elizabeth said. I shrugged my shoulders. I couldn't seek their help at every moment. "We shouldn't do this. We should hear you." Silver sighe

They'd really transformed into a badass. I grabbed my backpack. It was heavy for me. My phone buzzed. I took it out of my pocket and stared at the message. 'Samantha has asked for your number. Is she troubling you?' I sat down on the bed and clicked on the reply. I typed quickly. 'No, everything is fine.' I grabbed the bag and got up, hauling it behind me. Mom was waiting in the hall. My phone buzzed again. I clicked on open glancing down. 'I didn't give her your number. ' "What's making you frown?" She asked. I softly bit my lower lip, "Samantha wanted my number but Drake refused her." I told her. Was it wish? Soon, I'd know from her reaction. "He did the ri

I felt all the more dreadful. Cassandra was hovering over my head. Her gaze cut through me and I felt paralyzed. I pushed myself up, drifting my gaze around. "Finally you're fully awake," Cassandra said, with a smile. Her real smile astounded me. Werewolves tearing heads from their bodies, dead bodies, faeries fighting, faces of king Ricinus, King Kelstov, Prince Stipe plagued my thoughts. "I'm not married, right?" I asked with a scared tone, with big eyes. My chin began to tremble. I held my tears. They fed on human pain. They tormented humans and mocked their suffering. I swung my legs off the bed and padded across the room. It was a different room. "You're not married." She said.

I opened my eyes. My cheek was pressed against something cold. I forced my eyes to open. I saw logs burning and people sitting around it. It was huge and in the shape of a pentacle. The flames were so tall that I could it above their heads too. I could feel the slight heat. But the cool wind made it worse. My body trembled when I saw bars. I pushed myself up, jamming my hands against the cold metal. I heard laughter. My gaze drifted around. I was caged. The mocking, monstrous faces looked at me. Dread rolled through my belly. I drew in a sharp breath when I felt a sharp pain at the side of my head. A hand waved and I saw dark smoke in the air. I fall back on the metal ground. I tried but I couldn't gather the strength to sit. I held my hand to my temple. It hurt when my fingers pressed softly. Where are you

My eyes opened with a snap. Dastien! I could feel the pain again in my memories but it felt real. The terror permeated my skin and seeped into my bones. All faces turned and lingered on me, and I clenched my teeth to suppress a shriek as I pushed myself up. My gaze darted around. I wasn't in my room. The walls were red, ancient, expensive furniture, their room was definitely royal. King Kelstov was leaning against the doorframe. His yellow eyes were still on Elizabeth. Arms curled around me, taking me in a choking embrace. I saw Mary grinning with tears. "Girls, careful. Don't hurt her." She muttered. They pulled away immediately. They were grinning but I could see tear tracks, slightly swollen or red eyes. The skin of my cheek

After two hours of driving in the deep forest, Mary announced that we'd walk. Trees were so thick that the sunlight hardly reached the ground. The sound of wild animals could be heard. Somewhere from the direction of the forest, an owl hooted. In response, my heart thrummed. "It gives an ominous feeling," I told them. "Dark magic!" Mary said, looking forward. Her feet didn't stop for a second. I gazed at Elizabeth for an explanation, "This place is secured by Dark magic. Only a dark Faerie king can do this." "King Kolstov," I said his name in a whisper. My legs were throbbing, "Can we rest for a while?" I was forcing myself to walk. "I can pick you up," Silver grinned at me. We kept walk
