Chapter 76 - See things through and let go

“My mother has some colorful words to describe you,” William told her as they were seated in the living room after lunch to discuss the next course of action.

“She has started to play her cards then,” Rosaline replied indifferently.

William did not know what to make of her.

Since that morning, she had been different. Like she was unreachable and locked away.

He panicked seeing her like that.

But he could not ask her anything just on his instinct, especially when that same instinct told him she would not tell him anyway.

“Here’s the case files and all the evidence.” William passed a file to her.

“I had filed the complaint the day after we met.”

He was getting increasingly uneasy and wanted to resolve this as soon as possible.

“Okay.” Rosaline carelessly hummed her reply while flipping through the case files.

“This is enough. It will land Supriya in jail for at least a few months. And if we disclose this to the public, she will lose all credibility. What do you think?”
